When can we expect to get joystick working again? Is it going to work again ? Or are you no longer going to support that option ? Any answer will be greatly appreciated !

No answer from SOE yet on joystick fix, however they have developed this fantastic cricket chirping, in forum, sound effect.
First, go to: http://ps2issuetracker.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa and make sure any issues you are having are reported. Second, let the Right People know you, as a customer, are not happy... John Smedley is the President of SoE. He has always seemed to be a straight up person that deals with issues and gets things done. Look, I understand that you think you're doing the community a huge favor. But honestly, you aren't helping at all. By telling everyone to spam Smed's inbox you are putting the PS2 community under a negative light. We want to be seen as mature gamers who can talk about our problems in a constructive fashion. Not as 5 year olds who have to resort to childish email spam to get our point across. It's because of people like you who share your mob mentality that the forums get ignored. Sorry Fire, but if Tim Cook was the man who could fix my iPhone, you bet I would be e-mailing him. As I've posted elsewhere, there is nothing "childish" about complaining to the person in charge when you receive poor customer service. Frankly, from your point of view, we should accept that the food is cold, the waiter had his thumb in the soup, and there was a cockroach in the salad... Best meal you ever had and leave a big tip, right? Think back upon who it was that ordered O:MFG 1 & 2...the people tasked on the PS2 team certainly didn't seem very motivated or concerned that the only people who could get a decent frame rate were people who had access to Cray super-computers over at NASA and the NSA...until Smed stepped in and said "Fix it." Frame rates soared...performance went up...and so did the game's population. Smed was and is The Man. The buck stops there. If there's a problem that isn't being taken care of, you bet I will contact him. If the food's cold, the waiter is nasty, and the salad is moving with antenna waving around...I ask to speak with the Manager.
OK so i got new patch and yes i can bind some keys to my joystick. But not my yaw on logitech 3d pro . Are you only making game so it will work as a console or is it going to be possible to still use my 3d pro. I really like my yaw being able to twist hence 3d but obviously you guys are more interested in console controls than joystick controls . How about this , make a joystick just for planetside and ill buy it. Still not figured out how you get all the functions and abilities that this game has to offer on a console joystick. Ive tried its impossible. I only use joystick for flying all else mouse and keyboard. I personally like the ability to twist my stick to get YAW !! And considering the fact that ive bought and payed for this games membership and every gun in the game that was working when i bought should mean that it should still work !! If this is going to be just a console game please inform us so that we can start making arrangements to get a playstation !!
I bet if enough of us stop playing the game and spending the money they will care.Maybe a boycott weekend would get the attention.
Sounds like a good idea, this game has gone to crap !! Why would you not put all this on your test server first ,to work out the bugs and BS. No joystick no fun !! I really only like flying , and now game is garbage for that with no joystick for me ! Spent alot of time and money think im off to play something else for a bit ,might check back in a week and see if its better . Destiny is about to come out , im sure its ready to rock and roll on PS4 this game is gone !! If it takes them this long to make a game for PS4 then were all screwed !!

Can you show where you saw/heard this from? I've been unable to play since the bug and am hoping for a resolution soon.
email and tickets. I'm very frustrated by this too.. I've been trying to play with a keyboard instead today and it's just terrible. Can't go back to 1990s like this. Anyway, the lack of official response for several days, the fact that this wasn't on their September roadmap announcement, and the initial responses from my tickets indicating that joystick support wasn't something that Sony technically supports led me to think that maybe they either weren't aware of this issue at a high level, or didn't care. So, I ended up emailing John Smedley directly, and I got a response within a couple hours, which was very surprising. He apologized and said they would fix it this week. If only the forum moderators were as responsive as their CEO, I think we could all calm down a bit. We shouldn't have to go to the top to receive an acknowledgement that they're aware of the issue and are working on it.
