This is big for us since Watterson is such a larger server. I would appreciate any contribution or thoughts on this. My view: I personally like Jaeger how it is, and fear how our outfits are going to be swept aside in the TR by outfits like Let the Brit Drop and the 666th Devildogs. I know I selected Jaeger partially because of ho my computer performs in massive (200+ people) fights although the patches have alleviated this to a degree. Still, the massive battles may be something to look forward to and my guys will have a greater opportunity to ambush tank columns and I may get to have more of those epic fights during op hours, as well as a greater presence during off hours.
You know the Devildogs are NC and are on Connery, right? And if you are TR, of course you like Jaeger the way it is. You have 2-3 to 1 odds against VS.
I have some of the same worries as you Dagon. I've not always heard the greatest things about the communities on the larger servers but a lot of it is just upset people making angry posts in a moment of rage. Besides, we're not always sunshine, rainbow's, and lollipops here on Jaeger too . I hope that we start to see battles on Amerish and Esamir. I'm tired of Indar, I was never it's biggest fan but I don't think I've left it it in some time now, it's starting to come down to Indar or mostly empty caps though so often times we stay on Indar. Hopefully outfits will begin to move to other continents when some of the big ones are rolling across Indar. Im not sure Indar has room for BRIT, the 666th and TRAF at the same time I would be willing to bet one would switch and if one of the bigger NC outfits did too that could certainly spark a lot more regular action on those continents. In the end I'll hold on to the hope that this will be a good thing. Higher pops are definitely going to help at the least and more outfit battles are sure to be fun. New outfits to fight means new tactics and strategies to overcome as well. That will certainly be a welcome challenge. Heres to high hopes.
Lol no waterson is high TR...or equal NC dude...they should have merged soltech and waterson would have REALLY balanced the faction pops

oh yes your right , 1 whole outfit balances it all out right now on jaegar vs is 10% lower then the 2nd pop tr , nc high - 26/36/38 right not on waterson vs 28 tr 38 nc 34
No no, you misunderstand my point. For all intents and purposes Jaeger (as it is now) doesn't really have a GOOD VS outfit. They will now.
im in a small outfit of guys that are rarely on now, there are several i see on all the time , been squaded up with before i wouldnt say there isnt a good outfit on jaegar , but i am not disagreeing with you there either... i was hoping jaegar was gonna get merged with mattherson to play in AT and with GotR. but myself , like a lot of vs will probably buy a server change token
That's what I was really hoping for but you can't merge Matherson and Waterson for fear of pop cap preventing people from playing, and they could use more players. Overall population wise (not faction wise) what they did was the best move. I fear faction wise the VS on the new Waterson will have an uphill battle.
They didn't merge enough IMO they missed a few, maybe this is just a test run to see how it works and then will decide to merge more or no...so who knows
We always welcome a good challenge. That being said shouldn't be much different than what we currently experience. Must suck for TR as they were probably hoping for more targets to shoot at. "We are surrounded on all sides! Perfect! We can now shoot in every direction!" Welcome to Waterson!
So actually, you'll go UP to 27% from Jaeger... NC & TR will be almost equal. Waterson VS should be the one's complaining...... but the other part of the choice has to do with active populations... SolTech is the least active East server by far, and while Waterson has more registered players, Matherson remained more active. Someone suggested splitting Jaeger and SolTech VS, sending the smaller pop of Jaeger VS to Matherson where the #'s are more balanced right now, and the more VS from SolTech would bring more VS to Waterson to increase their overall %. However SolTech may have a higher VS % but their actual active playerbase could still be a smaller total # of players.
Hope to see more VS and NC in Watterson, too much TR Zerg... kill 2 and 3 appears and now with VS/TR Alliance its a littlebit more harder to play. they also need to do a pop limit, if we have 20000 spots and 10000 is in one faction, its nobody fault, but is already disbalanced.
Brit is dead, squad at most. If TB plays it boosts to many platoons but that does not happen often. IDDI is devil dogs and are fairly large on Waterson And SENT
So I pulled a list of the jeager outfits and posted it into the Waterson recruitment forum: I request a look over to make sure your on it; and preferably have you leaders post in it. The sooner we have cross server leadership communication the better for a smooth merger.
