Jaeger is merging with Waterson

I come from Jaeger oh Waterson's.
Sucks for us Jaegermen that you are merging with us AND you will keep your name.
Jaeger should merge with Soltech.
Just to tell you guys.

Not at all. We'll benefit from having more numbers in our player pool, which is good for our outfit recruitment. While Soltech would have been the optimal choice, Waterson is far better than Mattherson. Things could be worse.

Though, I do agree I'm feeling pretty damn bitter about losing our server name.

Your right about the other possible choice. Matherson is truly the worst option.

So anyway; complaing aside here are the outfits coming to Waterson: pulled from this thread: with some added by me.

Terran Republic

******* Gargantuan:

T.R.A.F: As the designation might suggestion, TRAF is ******* huge. Infact, it is almost an endearing aspect of the Jaeger server that you are likely to get run over by a TRAF tank at some point if you spend enough time here.. Regardless of faction. They use their impressive numbers to assault the enemy position en mass. I require more information on TRAF to list any of their specialized units, although they have a number of highly skilled pilots such as MissFrenzy.

Large sized:

HTSL: HTSL is an outfit for the insane, the incompetent, and the anarchists in the orderwise orderly TR faction. Known for their trench infantry 'Get drunk and camp Scarred Mesa Skydock' Strategy (Space Australia to them), these redheaded stepchildren are home to two specialized squads, the 'space dingo' demolitionists and the 'Border Patrol' anti-tank infantry. They have a rivalry with BoG leader Maergoth whom they affectionately refer to as Mar Mar

Medium sized:

BRSN: BRSN specializes in shock infantry tactics, relying on a fast response and quick blitzkrieg style to defeat larger forces and support the main element. Each member of BRSN spends regular time practicing with their outfit at the warp gate, in order to better improve their teamwork, increase their speed and to create a sense of greater squad cohesion. They are home to the Black Mambas, an assault corp that specializes in fast response time and assault actions against many times their number.

TT6: TT6 has recently gone through a purge of over 70% of their outfit, redefining themselves in what hopes to be an outfit with a strong sense of teamwork and an organized combined arms approach, moving away from their former high numbers approach. TT6 makes use of a strong teamwork ethic.

Small:

ARGO: A Really Good Outfit is a small unit that acts with a mandate similar to FUGK. Comprised of small but skilled players, they generally support the main advance with a squad of well equipped infantry.

FUGK: You know them. He has probably trolled you or killed you at some point then spawn camped your base while teabagging your cold corpse, his buddy standing there giggling at the spectacle. Of course I am referring to Cajual, and his trusty pilot Codeak. But did you know they have an outfit? Almost acting as a doppelganger to HTSL, with the same screwball sense of humour, Pretentious is comprised of possibly the best mechanical players on the server.

New Conglomerate

Large Sized:

PHX: Phoenix Battalion is defined by their large columns of rolling tanks, mercilessly driving forth to crush the enemy. While the majority of their outfit relies on numbers to complete objectives, they are now in the process of developing an elite assault platoon to better accomplish objectives modeling the tactics used against them.

NCUN: Whereas ETHOS makes specialists, NCUN makes swiss army knives. Jack of all trades, they know it all roles well, but have yet to define themselves as a master of one. NCUN rolls a combined arms approach.

EZC: Large outfit mostly known for the hate and discontent it's C/O has caused.

Medium sized:

LEGN: Death or glory? Give em both I say! The death legion's operational style seems more indicative of a Terran platoon gone rogue. Now they fight under the banner of the NC as shock troopers, known for their strong defensive actions and shrewd use of the NC's superior close quarters arsenal combined with a good teamwork ethic.

ETHOS: ETHOS is noted for its strong air presence, and a number of NC birds in the sky bear their name, such as CommanderV's liberator. ETHOS is also home to the ranger drop troops, infantry meant to support their strong air presence, and the elite Sentinels, a squad lead by an Iraq war veteran capable of taking on many times their number.

WRNC: Lead by the valiant CAPTBuckyOhare, We Are NC is currently undergoing a shift in their organization on the battlefield. Making use of a combined arms approach, they are similar in ideology to Skillset's outfit.

Small size:

LONGBOW : Shock infantry/drop infantry, more information is needed before further accessment can be made.

Auraxian Guard: recently formed outfit from of former PHX platoon leads; still deciding what they want to be.

Jaeger's United (no specialization mentioned yet)

Vanu Sovereignty

Medium sized:

9VLT: Nine Volt is one of the many specialized infantry outfits in the Heretic faction. It is likely this is due to their lower overall presence on the server, that the Vanu Sovereignty possess many of these outfits. They are home to a number of crack infantry squads that are known for their marksmanship.

BoG: An outfit emphasizing change and perfection as only a heretic could try to, Blaze of Glory is known for it's quality players, and makes use of a combined arms approach. Their leader Maergoth is known to have a particular disdain for Hostile Paradigm.

D3RP: Good teamwork infantry squads, require more information.

VREV: Good teamwork infantry, require more information.

One thing to correct there Nine Volt disbanded a few days ago. Otherwise yeah that's an accurate map of the Jaeger main outfits. Though nothing can really sum up HSTL's insanity, no really we have this ability to drive our enemies into such a blind rage they keep feeding us. Tis a beautiful thing.

Damm this merge is really nice, jaeger always had the biggest NC pop, waterson had the lowest NC pop whit the higest TR pop, well done

Nope that's about it for the VS outfits lol.

This counter intelligence is slander and lies! ......surely there are other outfits or even some raw numbers to bolster our empire on Watterson?

I look forward to helping Blaze of Glory in continuing their apparent crusade against HTSL. I'm sure we will find new rivalries along the old when the merger goes through.

This is going to be an interesting setting albeit more lore wise. (TR with highest pop, NC with secondary and VS as a minority.)

Not even a crusade. I just dislike people who are hindering the quality of my enemies. When a huge group of people do nothing but camp and talk ****, they becoming increasingly easy to kill.

There's plenty of quality TR outfits on Waterson at the moment who will be a pain to deal with, along with a couple dysfunctional ones.... Like any family/empire there's always one!
