Whenever I see an isolated enemy hex there are about 98+ of my factions pop. being poured on it and it is still being held. I would like to see the resource revamp take away the ability to keep generating nanites at these bases. Another suggestion would be not to allow new soldiers to that hex, so there would not be a continuous supply of soldiers to feed another onslaught of soldiers. To clarify I don't want the resource revamp now, just a small movement in it.
That is like what i said but i get the feeling there is a loophole, in which a person can inject himself into that region and keep spawning there.
If they physically fly there they can reinforce the base, but that's akin to siege breaking. Its still going to basically make those bases fall quickly (for most bases) and eventually for biolabs (as opposed to slowly for most bases and NEVER for biolabs)
Not sure even then. Zergfits are so used to mass redeploying at the drop of a hat they might actually have to drop what they're doing and consult a guide on pulling vehicles to get to where they're going. But I'm getting ahead of myself - hardly any bases ever get cut off from the warpgate. There are simply too many bloody links, or too few to even make that a strategic option.
