Is the Inquisitor worth its cost?

Had some SC burning a hole in my hard drive and said why not, worst that can happen its a side grade, boy was I wrong. In around the 3 hours I played with it got at least 15 kills where reloading would have either gotten me killed or someone else would have gotten the kill instead all because of the large ammo clip that feels like it has infinity bullets in those chaotic oh crap skidmark making moments.

Usually if Im forced to pull out my pistol its because I ran out of ammo or someone suprised me in the middle of reloading my AR and the pistol is only good for killing one guy then I have to decide either reload my AR or pistol depending if im being attacked, but with the Inquisitor it gives me an extra kill or two without having to reload either. So if theres an enemy wounded I can steal someone elses kill or just increase my chances of surviving in those hectic situations where reloading would get me killed or make me lose a kill to another teammate. It might not have the best TTK but man its a bullet hose and i dont regret this purchase at all right now.

sorry for the short winded post, but havent been this happy about an SC purchase in a while.

Worry about 1v1 before you think of 1v2. But i am sure you can argue this.
What you cannot argue is: Larger capacity magazines are only useful if you actually use the extra bullets. Most of the time, you will kill the enemy and reload before this happens.

I don't have to worry about anything.
I stated I like it better. Which is a fact. Doesn't matter who is there, the repeater sucks to me in 100% of the scenarios any person can muster up with. I know what they can all do. The larger capacity magazine is very useful for me all the time.
I like control in my shooting. When it shoots 2-3 extra ammo out without me clicking or holding the LMB down, that's not much control for me.

No, the Inquisitor was simply offered as an alternative to the Emperor in terms of 2nd tier (1st tier in my book being what you start out with) upgrades.

The fully auto pistol is coming later.

I think the auto-pistol is still in development right now, along with the NC shotgun pistol and the VS charge up(lol...probably) pistol.

Everyone was thinking that these pistols were going to be those, but it didn't happen, just some more same-y bland pistols.

As far as usefulness, I could tell by the stats it'd be terrible, just love how they nerfed the Repeater to try to con some people into buying it...lol

    TX1 Repeater
    • Max damage now starts scaling at 8 meters, decreased from 10 meters
    • Minimum damage is now reached at 50 meters, down from 60
