Infos About Double XP Events And Holiday Sales/Promotions???

Since SOE developers like to scatter important information around the web and Christmas is almost here i ask ForumSide: Are there any infos about double XP events and holiday sales/promotions? I cant find anything on forums, launcher or Facebook.

• Will there be a double XP event during Christmas? When does it start? How long?
• Will there be Christmas sales and promotions?

A while ago, there was an announcment to sign up for the newsletter for "great promotions":

I updated my e-mail preferences in time, but i havent got anything so far. (Yes, i checked my spam folder.)

I would like to know aswell. I also updated my email preferences in time and have yet to receive anything.
Would be nice to know about upcoming events.

Also, while on the subject of promotional information. Does anyone know what kind of camo you will get for buying 6 of the holiday ones?
All it says ingame is that you will receive an "extra" camo. That could be anything from Giraffe camo to Black camo to a holiday sweater camo.
I have become extra careful about stuff like this after how they handled the anniversary bundle.
Especially when it says that the camo will be granted after the promo ends.
This all sounds a bit like "If they know what it looks like before spending money, they wont buy 6 camos" in my head.

I, too, have received nothing in my Inbox. I've been scanning my spam folders just in case too.

Just received my promo email at 1:36 PM. It is a code you enter to redeem SC bonuses/discounts. Pretty nifty - hoping for a variety of "gifts" the next few days. They'll be giving out codes every day 12/19-12/21.

I haven't received anything, and I'm 100% sure I signed up this sucks.

So, with the fiasco that was this patch release and the lack of alerts, would it be possible to have next weekend be double XP as well?

As it stands now I probably won't play until the next hotfix.

I got a code for a "mystery SC discount." Supposedly you can get up to triple SC, but I got a bonus 25%. Didn't bother to purchase any since I've got plenty from Black Friday.

I am a subscriber and neither with the Steam Install nor a standalone install I get notified of double xp weekends ingame or in any other way. Had to set up a reminder in Google Calendar.

So in case Pootisman and others wonder why the get nothing, I think it's a result of that kind of "QUALITY".

P.S. signed up for these mails ages ago and got nothing so far.

25%? I guess there must be up to 4 categories then - 25%, 50%, double, triple SC. I read it all wrong and thought it was only either a double or triple SC code you could draw. You still have 2 more days to draw up a better code. I did get the triple SC one.

Beyond this, I'm not really expecting anything else, just the 12 days of camo sale, the holiday bundle and this email only SC promotion.

It's like they're actively trying to avoid our money with terrible ideas.

This is a GOOD thing - good riddance alerts, and the stupid continent locking that comes with them!

Other stores offer me discounts if I give them my email address, so that part I can understand. On the other hand though, I don't give these stores $15/month

If they're saying I have to sign up for spam, on top of the monthly fee, to get access to the same offers as anyone else... I protest.

Not cool, Sony, not cool.
