Mods didn't like my angry thread last night talking about Infs not using darts, so instead I put up a video.

You have zero excuse to not being using sensor darts, absolutely zero.

I agreed with, supported and applaud your thread. Nothing is more frustrating than seeing 6 infiltrators running around a base fight that has gone to CqC with sniper rifles and zero darts or motion spotters around.

Maybe Infs will wake up to the fact they're missing out on an absolutely silly amount of EXP, they would have to get close to 200 kills an hour to earn the exp I was using just using sensor darts

Ive sat and spammed sensor darts in massive Biofarms and let the certs roll in. Not only does it help the team in a huge way for almost zero effort, but it nets the user a ridiculous amount of XP in the process. And that was before the ribbons. I could imagine the extra XP now earning all those ribbons to go with it.

It probably has the best risk:reward ratio in the game.

Yet I regularly in battle have to yell at the top of my lungs for Infs to use them.

One common retort is "But I use sensor beacons" etc, in which I say back what bloody good is that going to do you as a sniper in the middle of a base?

Or last night I was climbing hills to do battle, and there's 3 infs there going through the coral mountains on Indar and not using neither one, and then the enemy got the jump on us, something we would have seen coming if they used their motion spotting gear.

Its just outright baffling, I dunno how much more EXP SOE has to give Infs for sensor spot kills, but christ almighty as it is I can't even fathom why you wouldn't want to use them.

Marvelous... With all the crap about nerf this, get rid of that, and the moderators lock a valid call for Infiltraitors to Spam Them Darts.

..i dunno , maybe it was your thread , or such by happenstance ..i recognised yesterday , there was an' increased amount of sensor darts being used on miller at vs side. & a special shout out goes to the one dude where keeps spray'spammin sensor-darts on & on all over the enemy watchtower area by restock on my deployed sunderer. he was my hero of the day. i'm sure he gained as more certs as he would have gained with kills.

..funny too btw: it tooks only 5 min to have almost only ammo sunderer on zerg-front , after one tanker complaint 'bout the lack of ammo sunderer in region chat.

You know there's a limited amount of darts you can have at the same time, right? I don't remember how many, two I think.

OP this is the first and probably last time but I agree 100% with you

Aside from the fact it help you, your team and is easy and quick to do, on top of all that in a large fight you get a ton of xp

And in less than a minute those darts have disappeared and you have to spam them all over. But you are quickly out of ammo and there is no ammo pack around. In the mean time, an LA was able to flank you unnoticed and kills you. While you are eagerly waiting for a res that is never going to happen, you realize you would've owned that LA if you had been a little more conservative with your darts.

"Darn" you mutter to yourself.. "The next HA that asks me to spam my darts will be rhetorically questioned how he contributes to the team. If he really wants to have full radar cover, he can just pull his own radar flash or ESF."

Sadly, whenever i am running infil with sensor dart, there are no engis around to supply me with more darts,
or our guys are getting farmed too hard for me to get any kill assist xp from sensor dart marked enemies
(Miller VS btw, since the merge it feels just terrible sometimes)

What's the experience cap for recon activities?

I love my darts/spotter. Certs well spent. Useful for everyone and i get tons of xp.

Wrong.
You can have as many as you want but they will decay over time.That means that the number of darts you can have at a time depends only on your sensort dart launchers rate of fire.

I have one. It's called motion spotter and 90% of the time I find it clearly superior.

Geeez, that brightness. It hurts my eyes.
