C4 is one of the most spammed weapons in game-thrown out doors, windows, out of force shields, near force shields, over cliffs, into tunnels, etc. Increase the resource cost to reduce the spam. Where does it all come from? LOL
I think it's more of a problem that members and nanite boosters allow the more spam for paying people. people who play for free cannot spam to the same degree as paying players.

Bit of a counter-argument, what if C4 was turned into the Cortium Bomb pre-update where you have to place it but it overall deals massive damage in a small-medium radius (smaller than Cortium Bomb)? I like having effective AV but don't mind losing the explosive spam aspect. Tho I guarantee you that the spam comes from me lmao, on my way to aurax it on my toons I just chug it out of windows for 1-2 kills, cost be damned.
Counterpoint. Equip flak armor? A brick of C4 doesn't even kill an infil if they have flak armor on. Its almost like if you're dying to explosives in general that is your best solution. Short of if you WANT to run grenade bandolier all the time, but thats a choice you make and you're at more risk to grenades and C4 then. Or if you're defending make sure you have an Ordinance Dampener nearby I know, crazy talk to counterplay things that you can.
