Implant energy

    Allow me to start by stating I like the new implants, but several things bug me about them. I will only mention one of those things here and that is implant energy. I can't find any rational reason why any of the implants even use a resource. It seems like an arbitrary restriction that can't be mitigated through good decision making, you just have to turn it on/off at a terminal.

    Is there something I'm missing here? Some mechanic I haven't seen/used yet? I don't have any T3 implants yet, is there some balance issue at that level?

    I suppose I'm just confused as to why we need this restriction. Seems like it would be fine if the implants just did what they do all the time.

    I think you are completely missing the point that people will not spend as much money on implants/chargers if they could use the T3 implant they want forever. There is no lore/backstory/immersion reason why, there is no game balance reason why. Cash is the only reason implants need chargers.
