Before the hotfix, I would crash like every 90 minutes or so, and it was a manageable CTD Now it crashes like every 45 minutes, and it freezes the game and forces me to sign out of my windows account. The hotfix actually made it worse.
Yea. Never crashed on this computer until this last patch. I was doing a 24 hour session attempt this past Thursday with a 50 % xp boost and it kept crashing to desktop. Very annoying during alerts. The last crash I barely logged back in in time for the alert win....
My pc gets freezed after playing... anyone else? I mean with freeze that everything goes slow, games have low fps (not planetside2). It fixes with a pc restart, first time this happens.
I'm crashing a lot too since I started playing PS2 again recently, it freezes up and I'm forced to reboot windows 10, other times it just crashes the game and I can start the game again. This never happend before.
I've been having freeze/crash since the initial construction patch. Prior to this patch, there was one which actually allowed me to crash to desktop, but since the recent patch... Back to the full freeze crash or crash to desktop. Consistently after 48-50 minutes of in game action. Also, try just Ctrl-Alt-Del, pull up task manager and kill planetside if it freezes. You should not need to reboot your machine.
same here, after last big update the crashes got waaay worse, I usually end by crash triggered mostly during combat, got to end by taskmanager. Windows 7 64 ultimate, geforce GT 650, 8 GB ram, intel core I7 3610
the image stops on my pc, i can use alt+f4 to close down everything except planetside, i need to restart my comp to get rid of frozen planetside.
A lot more crashes here too. Crashed twice in 2 hours. Every time I crashed, my friend knew he'd crash a few minutes later and as expected, he would.
Not sure if you need to sign up for the newsletter but the title and camo don't pop up like a lot of free content has in the past... it's just sort of 'there'. I thought I didn't get it at first but it turned out I had to go directly to my title/camo section and there they were. If they aren't there for you, you could always contact support and see what's up. If not, I'm sure there'll be another time where they'll give it out.
Ditto here. Haven't had crashing problems for a long time until this latest patch; now it's almost guaranteed to happen after an hour or so. Temperatures are still good and I haven't mysteriously downgraded my hardware, so it's unquestionably a problem with the game.
They "fixed" it..., what did u expect.... its a long know tradition that they mess something up or add new bugs every update.
