The Iron Horse Tank Battalion an NC outfit focused on Armored and Mechanized combat. We are looking for drivers, gunners, and support roles of all types; no restrictions. Newbies and Veterans Welcome! Advance with Armor! Crush the enemy beneath your treads! Who are we? We're a group led by veteran players that switched mainly from TR tanking. Most of the command has been playing since the release. We saw a void in the NC tanking/armor community and sought to fill that void. We also are pulling more members that have now left inactive armor outfits. What makes us different? We have a rewarding ranking system that values you based on loyalty, skill, and leadership. We will NOT keep you the same rank forever unlike some larger outfits. Here you have the opportunity to become a key contributor or leader if you show the aptitude. When you become an Iron officer similar to a Warrant officer in the military we expect you to be an expert in your craft and a good leader. Our Ranks- Commanders-Founders/Marshall Officers Captain - Senior Officers Iron - Officer Cavalier -Seasoned Tanker/Armor Support Crewman - Basic Tanker/Armor Support Gunner - Lightning or Gunner Loader -Trainee tanker/trainee Armor support (Recommended to gun for vehicles) Engineer - New to the Outfit (should focus on the engineer class before pulling vehicles) Our Vision: We want the Iron Horse Battalion to be the most active and recognized armor outfit in the NC. We want to help you improve your armor experience and skills, while providing a chill environment. Most of us have mics and encourage to USE them as we will be coordinating much throughout on ops nights. We want you to be comfortable with what you specialize in armor support but our main goal is to have large armor columns that tear through the battlefield. NOTE: We are not all tankers we are looking for some builders, support armor snipers, MAX specialist, turret gunners and other various armor roles that can help the overall armor corps such as Sunderer and Harasser support.
