I've bought some stuff I shouldn't have/regretted . I would pay money to be able to re-cert. Would you?

SOE could make some serious money with this. I'd pay 10€ to reselect where I put my cert points.
  3. Panache

I surprised you can't, honestly. If SOE was smart, they would include a monthly recert chit as a premium member perk or a SC-bought item.

how about WE DON'T PAY TO RECERT AT ALL, it should be allowed since we assumed our ingame cash could be used on different servers.. although it is exploitable in some regards. we all know which weapon are pure suck while others are worth it.
  5. Obliterator

YES to recerting. I place like 800 certs in a worthless carbine... I hate carbines its like Im shooting a bow with that exaggerated bullet drop.
  6. Deschain

Pay to recert! are you mad, who would think of such a thing. Oh yeh i forgot soe is run by corperate money grabbers.

    same here,
    would pay to recert;
Also, being an incredible noob, i would pay hard cash for certs  (bribe anyone?)
  9. Braveliltoaster

just keep playing and eventually you will have everything unlocked... may take some time tho

No, this is essential to the game and it should be free with a cooldown, pay for a lower cooldown if anything.

You do not capitalize on essentials.

The ideal solution would be for them to listen to the people saying they regret spending certs on X (like for example, me and the laughable Skyguard that does nothing) and fix those things so they're not such a joke that people want to re-cert out of them. That would help balance the game.

But since it would probably take them a long time to do that... Sure, let us re-allocate cert points.
  12. Scythar

    1 problem though:
most weapons i bought with SC, so when i would recert, i actually would have changed SC for certs...
Thats why i think they wount do it! Pitty, cos i'm not very good at the game, so it goes very slow!
  13. Hexospecs

i dont care how they do it to be honest, i just want to be able to re-cert. i have a laser sight and an extended mag on my shotgun. i never use the laser sight, so that alone is 100 certs wasted.
  14. Trignite

Would be cool if you could uncert from certain certifications with a say 5% cert cost of what that specific cert costed. For example you spend 100 certs on a foregrip if you wanted those certs back you have to spend 5 certs. Or make it just refund 95% of the initial cost.

A store bought item would be nice. That way they could maybe give everyone one freebie. Y'know, for everyone to fix a simple newb mistake. I put a lot of certs into the SABR-13 being stubborn and thinking it would get better. Thing is, any other rifle is just as good, if not better at ranged combat and versatility. Even the TRV, strange as that sounds.
  16. FluffyM

    What he said.
Stop giving away your money so haphazardly ffs, this kinda **** is why the gaming industry has no sort of minimum standards to speak of.
  17. Arrack

Respeccing would be great. I mean, if you tire playing a certain class you don't want to spend 3 months grinding again do you? They'd make a fortune with this option.
  18. Duckforceone

higby actually confirmed that recerting, and renaming, and server transfers are coming... :D
  19. pilg0r

Well, obviously I'd prefer to be able to re-cert for free. I was just simply stating that I want it soo bad I'm willing to pay for it.

Actually there is a counter on how many Certs you've earned over your characters career, so I doubt that they would refund Certs on things that you purchased with SC, those items I believe would be permanently unlocked.
