Having the new NS pistols just makes me want a genuine semi-auto primary weapon for my LA. I would prefer if it was styled after a pistol from an aesthetic point of view. Performance wise, something along the lines of the battle rifles although I suppose it could be more like the pistols and sacrifice some damage at distance is people think that would be too much. Personally, I would have appreciated if the new NS pistol filled this roll but with such a relatively high average TTK in most situations it does not quite fit the bill- which I understand, it being a sidearm and whatnot. However, that being said, if I had it my way I would have semi-auto pistol options as part of the primary weapon class and in so doing justify the competitiveness with the automatics. I realize a rifle style weapon IRL would probably make more sense but LAs and pistols just seem like they were made for each other.
