They were added ages ago, it's called the "Javelin". They were ported in off the back of the failed Planetside Arenas game. They are however only available if you have an NSO character. https://planetside.fandom.com/wiki/Javelin
Kinda, fills a similar role as a fast transport, it's nowhere near as good at combat as the flash though, Only one weapon, Nest Launcher, slow, low damage homing missiles with terrible tracking and an EIGHT second reload. But Javelin makes up for that by being excellent mobile cover to shoot over, though I don't see any other NSO's who have realised this yet, the folks of Cobalt will know it well! (If they've met my NSO point holding) NSO can still pull flash too, so this is kinda like the NSO mbt
The Javelin's most common use is a ground version of the solo valkyrie. Find a fight you can't easily spawn at? The common solution is to Valk over there. But few bases have air terminals. The Javelin will get you there nearly as fast and the movement & flight mechanics on it allow you to easily pass outer defenses of your destination fight.
