Logged in Defended a Tech Plant Hopped into a Lightning Killed a Vanguard My Lighting Tank got killed by a lightning bolt from storm Logged out GG..
Yep, PS2 used to be: Crush you're enemies, see them driven before you and to hear the lamentation of the women. Now it's all about doing Zoolander's orange frappuccino missions to get that Zoolander suit. LOL
yep.. 1st time in months I logged in.. last night.. killed twice by storm lightning in 5 mins.. logged off, uninstalled.. suck it DB
Yep I'm livid at what this game has turned into and regret any and all money I put into it. (Emerald player - Mostly solo since my outfit died) Since I bothered to update it I've just been watching either the storm ruin fights, or watch helplessly as the TR Bastion's and following air zerg leisurely wander from fight to fight farming whatever they want. Only one Colossus was the most the VS could muster, which was nuked by the Bastion on it's own. Even on the worst days of being outnumbered I could at least fight back and do some damage, but nope I guess I have to step into some massive outfit to even get the honor of being able to pull the ground vehicle that can actually do anything.
Have you tried equipping Insulated Armor on your vehicle, or... dare I say it... not playing where there's clearly a huge zerg or a stalemate?
I like the creative approach that DB is going with to try and deal with zergs and stalemates. I also agree that the lightning storm needs a few more tweaks.
I've been playing PS2 since 2012 and I still appreciate PS2's open world where you have a choice to skirt around a major battle picking off stragglers or dive right into the melee. Compare this to what EA DICE's Battlefield V has become: one claustrophobic melee after another (I've been playing the Battlefield series since BF2). Battlefield stopped being fun, but PS2 still brings me joy.
I remember the old days when I would valiantly fight in a 400v400 battle across three tiles and snipe for hours on end upon hills infested with enemy infiltrators competing for the prime sniping-ground. I started playing when it was in beta.
