I play on Woodman and am... sad, upset, hurt..?

well my 120 man outfit will change to woodman too in that moment server transfers are here.
we played on woodman since the beginning but we want fights on esamir and amerish too.
woodman i a stupid indar only server so by by....
SOE will get another dead eu server


and dear SOE if you dont allow transfers to miller then we just make new accounts there.
we dont care, but because of ignoranz of you we are leaving the server

You can beat woodman with only the buster cannon, but Atomic fire, fully charged, will kill him instantly.

If there wont be any merge to get Esamir and Amerish populated i'll use the Server Transfer when it's availiable...

a lot of people will leave the server because of this.
and then woodman is empty.....
well SOE there are always different ways to close a server. this one is the worst

I strongly believe SOE will have to close Woodman shortly after transfer tokens are available. Esamir and Amerish are mostly empty 24/7 and those ppl still there to grind at and around the Crown will be eager to change servers to play at some other locations.

I agree, Woodman is going to continue to decline. Possibly almost as fast as my interest and dedication to SOE and PS2 as a result of them choosing to abandon Woodman. What is also frustrating is SOE's total silence on the matter.

Your daily reminder Woodman is royally screwed.

wth, people talking about queues IN WOODMAN, I must be on drugs or something since I haven't sat in a queue since early december.

I mostly only play at peak hours too, there's allways a good sized fight going on at indar, other two conts are nearly empty with some tiny skirmishes. Only ghost cappers play there and maybe couple of crazy people who think they're rommel reborn for capturing empty terrain nobody but they care about.

It's gonna die next when people buy their way out with tokens or stop playing all together as the action dies down.

Are you people so deluded to think these merges will do anything to get people on Esamir and Amerish? Incentive is needed, not forcing people there because Indar is full.

and yes, we need some incentives to get 80% of people to actually do something else but grind certs at crown every evening.

People, please have the decency to wait another month. Continent Locking has been pushed up the list to March, so our troubles are not going to last for long! (hopefully, at least).

I am really curious how the whole continent locking thing handles the enormous population unbalance especially on Woodman with 25% VS 35% TR and 40% NC during prime time EU, but hey VS is easy mode and this results only from the purple colour....

woodman population is already very low. it will get even lower after the server merges. woodman will be the lowest pop server in europe... that means we wont be getting any new players at all! and many current players will switch to bigger servers for better gameplay experience. things are looking grim...

only fair thing to do would be to give a free server transfer token to all woodman characters. but i guess that will never happen... SOE needs to sell those transfer tokens to someone... whats a better way to do it than to shaft a "medium" pop server in to the bottom of the list, to force players to buy them or play in ghost town? :/

Didn't Higby already say they weren't done with mergers and were watching woodman closely to see if it would get a follow up merger? Or am I thinking of something else?

Edit- Yup. This is in response to Connery but logically it goes for all servers not being merged right away. Page 1 of Higby's server merge thread.

"We are considering that and keeping an eye on it. Our concern is peak population being beyond capacity and having excessive queuing. We will reevaluate once the new Helios has had a chance to stabilize after the merges."

I didn't see or hear anything along those lines anywhere (forums, twitter, reddit, YT, etc.).

Please give a proper source to support your claims instead of bending Higby's words in your favour.
Secondly, don't pull a weak knee-jerking attempt by invalidly patronizing me when I point out your error in argumentation.

You're right, I didn't. I assumed people would actually read Higby's thread so what he has said would be common knowledge. How terribly quaint of me.

Uhh my favor? I think not. I don't play on any of the servers not being merged. However, again logically if Connery is in the exact same boat as Woodman then reason states it will be merged if there is a second wave. I haven't bent anything. I've admitted his response was for Connery however basic reasoning would state the same goes for all servers. After the first server wave hits all affected servers will fluxuate for a couple weeks. This will be caused by 1) people returning to the game to see what the merge actually did and 2) people deciding if they still want to play on their server, change servers, or quit (due to performance hit of having more players, bored, or because they liked small servers). As much as I bash SOE for being lazy and money grubbing I highly doubt they are only watching Connery.

Now you can agree with me or don't but don't come to me like a entitled 5 yr old because I didn't do everything for you or because God himself didn't give you the answer you wanted.
