I have no problem that he was trying to get a bunch of engineers on him I've asked for the same before. What I HAVE a problem with is doing it over /orders. That should be done over /regionsay. Doing something like that over /orders is just an abuse. Orders should be for tactical advice and intelligence only.

Kinda debatable going purely off the leader boards .. Score can be manipulated by Boosts, Kills can be manipulated by using the current OP farming tool etc etc.

Not saying he isn't good .. But during one server Beta and up to now I've run into a lot Better ... ( A few in Future Crew spring to mind )

Give BWC some props too , besides everyone knows TE is a very important part of ULTRA but collectively ULTRA gets a lot more done with all our outfits combined efforts.

TE is only one outfit, Mattherson also has one of the most respected outfits in Planetside 2. BWC, Black Widow Company, which SOE has recorded multiple times. I was invited to join them for another SOE recorded event where SOE followed them around when they had 300+ members present. We warp gated the VS/NC on Amerish almost completely on our own. Don't fret Shrapnel, there are other great honorable outfits on Mattherson, but they don't typically call a lot of attention to themselves...

BWC also has one of the only 2 air squadrons, the other being TE's Talon, able to remain effective with the massive AA coordination from the VS/NC.

I'm merely a good friend of BWC and a valued member of their Rampage Armor Division, I don't record for them. They have more videos, you just have to look for BWC on youtube. I know BCP doesn't normally talk about other TR outfits, but I know he holds respect for BWC.

So do it. Boot the inactives and alts. And why would you even HAVE alts on the same empire/server in this game?

Pretty much. Most orders are given through ts3 as it should be done. In game coms aren't ideal and there is plenty of communication between the 8 daggers (squads)

Noxous (think that is how you spell it) is the best pilot I have seen in the game, absolutely brilliant. I'd agree Future Crew are pretty awesome

We don't need to boot the inactive or barely active players from our outfit just to boost our overall average stats. We're not competing for any awards here.

It may not have the game mechanics to back it up, but it's the thought that counts.

If enough people actually believe in the territory capture game, then it becomes a legitimate mechanic just on that player belief. We can't expect random solo players to believe in the territory capture mechanics, but we can hope for outfit leaders and their members to believe in it. It creates fun fights when outfits move to defend and attack with purpose, even if it is all in our heads.

It's kind of like currency actually. Paper money like the USD has no inherent purpose or value (aside from making paper airplanes). Its value comes from the belief that other people will accept it, in other words, all in our heads.

So if all the factions' outfits agree to play the game by territory, we can have that purpose filled experience for now until SoE gets around to fixing things.

Except we didn't do it to boost our stats. You get booted after a week of inactivity, and are able to be reinvited at any time. This is done to get a good estimate of member activity in the game, and no, it doesn't matter what your stats are, so I don't know where you get the idea that we're somehow trying to pad our stats.

That's fair. Regardless of intent, it has the net effect of boosting your Outfit's average stats by a huge margin over those outfits that don't boost inactives. If your members are going to be comparing outfits using those kind of stats, then do it fairly.

You weren't here for the (since deleted) thread in which everyone got some jollies by watching this stat-padding in real time.

I give the PS2 combat cameraman a lot of credit - they do some good work. Regardless of faction, these kind of videos are great for the game and need to get wider distribution!
