I know why I play, but why do you play?

48v48 fights where you are attacking and outnumbered but still kick the enemy out of the base. Because teamwork communication leadership. Also clearing points 1v4 or more with Conc+Jackhammer is a huge rush.

That is why I play.

I play to farm bio labs and towers.

I hope one day for a patch that closes off the cqc infantry fights from the HE and lolpod spam.

My outfit's the only thing keeping me playing, sadly.

joined an utfirt once but found the game to be much more boring so I asked to be kicjed out. :L I'm too much of a solo player in this game.

Tonight I found myself in a 48v48 fight against the VS fighting as TR at an Amerish amp station. They had sundies coming out of the woodwork and they were constantly putting pressure on all of the gens. Whenever we got one cleared they were already hitting one on the other side of the station.

You could barely set foot into the courtyard without drawing fire as they seemed to control all of the surrounding walls.

I never play as inf as I don't have a knack for the cloak and smg strategy and I'm a mediocre sniper. Tonight though the stars must have aligned as I found my perfect "clock tower" as they say in the movies, and got 20+ kills while keeping them off the high ground. It was a blast and I was racking up a lot of kills quickly so I wasn't just padding my K/D.

For those Planetside moments that can only happen in an fps of this scale, and with a load of the old school boys & gals from PS1 on my server too, there's certainly plenty of that on Miller.

I play to troll and grief. Other than that PS2 is boring as ****.

I like the friendship I experience in the outfit I'm in. I like the flexibility and scale of the game. And I love playing a supporting role. And this game allows me to do it with great effect.

That's pretty much what I do. For me, it's 100% about the challenge. I play infiltrator almost exclusively, with only BARs. Nothing feels quite like OHK a running heavy from 300m away, or in CQC. The former requires a lot of experience, the latter nerves of steel and twitch reflexes. I couldn't give a rat's **** about efficiency, winning or losing. I help my team out with sensor darts and spotting but that's as far as I go.

Sure, I could grab a bullet hose and go cap objectives, but for me, that's the opposite of fun.

I play for the struggle over bases.

When it stops being fun due to people turning their hacks on, or overpopping, or max/vehicle spamming, I just deploy elsewhere.

Should roll with Tiede and I sometime, your armor would really brighten up the place.

I play because two fights don't really tend to be the same. It's something slightly different each time, even if it's the same base, even if people seem as dumb as bots sometimes.

Planetside is a PVP junkies paradise. Lots of great folks, a well balanced FUN game, a constant challenge to your skill at any level, EPIC battles, true integrated air armor infantry battle. Sci Fi... <3

I love the game. I love it because:

- Sandbox nature - freedom to fight where you want, when you want and with as many people as you want.
- Massive team play with platoons, squads.
- innumerable tactics, variety and fun to be had.
- Massive range of vehicles, guns, kit to play with and switch between.
- I love FPS games and PS2 is the best on the market atm.

Because Battlefield has gone to ****. This is the only good large scale shooter that's left on the market (and ArmA 3 to some degree).

The fact that it's free is a huge motivation. It's more massive than any FPS I've ever played and has officially won me over from the Battlefield franchise. The squad play is also (sometimes) better than any game I've played.
I love the massive battles and lately I've really been eager to practice getting better at flying. Flying is so fun in this game.

For gits and shiggles. I'm pretty sure I have ten deaths for every kill, but I have fun anyway.
