I guess this patch did it for me...

    I really tried hard to give this game a chance. I wrote postings, made suggestions, wrote tons of bugreports, but I don't see any future for Planetside 2 with this team. I guess I'll check out the roadmap patches every once in a while, but I don't really have faith into it. Maybe it is the best solution to simply wait for the relaunch.

    I uninstalled already.

    Waited 3 months for an optimization patch that made my FPS worse. Bravo Sony, bravo.

    You might want to include subject matter next time.

    This is not the optimization patch. There is no mention of optimization in the patch notes. Why would you expect this to be an optimization patch?

    Actually it is the FIRST three lines that say optimization. There is a fps studdering issue it sucks but the overall performance otherwise is better.

    What are you talking about? Not only does it say there were optimizations in the patch notes, but SOE told us back in December that there would be a big optimization coming out with GU2.

    On my server they were announcing that they knew about the FPS loss and were trying to fix it.

    worse patch ever and a weekend
    drop from 50fps to 20fps and lag

    SoE never test patch ? test server will be nice
