I don't see these ' alarms'. But they seem to have broken the flow.

I'm in Ceres and for some reason I never got notification when a alarm goes off. Does anyone else have this.

As I understand it they are an incentive for factions to fight over certain ground giving bonus XP. In practice what it seems to have done is fragmented the flow of the game. The map now looks a quilted mess as people seem to fighting where told, rather the where is logical.

Without seeing the alarms myself it has made the game rather confusing and empty. If I join a squad no one seems to put beacons up any more (I guess due to the Alarms marking it), and all my friends stooped playing PS2 sometime back.

Has anyone else found this, and knows of a fix for the Alarm?

The current alarms are dictating a continent fight. The winner is whoever has the most territory by the end of the alert. Where you are going to fight in that particular continent is still dictated by the players.

There is an option that turns the alarm display off in the general settings page maybe you clicked it.
Even so hitting tab should allow you to see the alert also it should be at the very bottom of the scorecard.

They seem to have hotfixed the alarms. I see them now, it seems to have totally fragmented the player base though on Ceres.
It used to be Indar for a good PS2 fight now it just seems to be spred out across Indar and where ever the alarm goes off. Making it more of a poor mans battlefield rather then the larger scale fights that used to happen.

Moreover, unless you check the forums you wouldn't even know of these Alarms (if you hit the same bug I did). I genraly thought the game had just died. I wonder how many others thought so too and just stoped playing. Seems to have been strangly implemented.
