i cant login to the game at all after hotfix on the 22nd

as the title says and ive restarted the game and my pc many times no luck, I get stuck logging into the game it doesn't go past my char screen.

Same here, I either get stuck at 96% load or Logging in.

Yes, same here too, seems 96% is the magic number. I thought it was 42. Killed the game in task manager twice now, will give it a 3rd try now but then I'll leave it an wait until an engineer came up with a clever fix to continue loading the game...

Third attempt worked but than it hung in the loading screen. Will retry a fourth time and post result...

I have the same exact problem as described above by the other gamers. ALWAYS FREEZES AT 96% OR THE LOGIN SCREEN. I am a VS Heavy Assault.

Fourth attempt worked. Perhaps they need to reinitialize something after the patch. God knows... but it's not really cool. Had the same situation yesterday after a patch too.

Same issue. I imagine we'll get a response when Sony figures out something to tell us.

i am only upset i cant login because i only get 2 days off each week to play.. i just became a member for a month and now i cant get in to get me some certs..my problem was not getting passed the initial loggin but not i got to the character select and click loggin and it doesnt do anything!! PLEASE HELP...I NEED ME SOME WAR

I'm upset because my boosts are being wasted. like seriously wtf............

Does Sony plan on reimbursing those of us that use boosts????

Yeah this sucks i was going to renew my sub and play this weekend, any word on what's going on?

Are they paying interns to code?? They made some amazing updates to optimize and everyone left on vacation?

This is kind of embarrassing they patch and no one can login. At least do ANYTHING to regression test after a patch. Literally ANY form of testing would have caught that logging in doesn't work!! It's almost funny because you need to TRY in order to be this bad at patching.

Yeah same problem .. Hung at 96% and the 2nd attempt I left it and it let me in after 3minutes .. Then stuck on endless " loading " from the char select screen.

EDIT: Running the game as Admin seemed to work .. Might just be pure luck though

Having the same issue.....

Stuck initially at 96%. After several tries I have gotten to the character screen, only to try and log on and be stuck on the Logging In screen....yay

I also have this problem. Loading slow and sticks around 96-98%. I just ctrl+alt+del and end ps2, reopen and it loads fine. Then i get stuck on login. I let it sit for a second, then exit game, and load it back up. It then runs as normal.
