I can't chain-pull vehicles, but I can chain-pull C4 up to 40 times?

    You guys are thinking of this all wrong. C4 is fine as it currently is implimented so long as it doesn't instagib tanks. For infantry, I find claymores more effective to toss into a group and get tons of kills, seeing as there is no stupid delay, and for tanks I prefer teamwork.

    The problem is that the C4 can instagib, it shouldn't be able to instagib with only 2 sticks from 1 player. It should take multiple to take out a tank... reduce its cost but make it more useful, I say. Have it not instagib tanks (reduce its damage to armor) sure put the tank into the red or something, but not instagib :)

    Easy solution.

    I don't know, sneaking up on an infi and sticking C4 to their backs, then detonating it after getting back is kinda hilarious.

    I don't want to be an ***, and I don't think you're a moron at all, but I think your argument is incredibly illogical for one simple reason.

    Take this as an example. If you walk into a room with a claymore, you get instagibbed because you didn't pay attention.

    How is that any different from C4? If you sit there parked where infantry can try to kill you, and you don't pay attention while they take 5+ seconds to run up and C4 you, you get instagibbed because you didn't pay attention.

    How is that overpowered when the only reason it works is because the tank driver is absolutely terrible?

    I don't understand.

    I slaughter people all day long. Infantry, vehicles, aircraft, all in my Vanguard. I've been killed by C4 so few times in my tank.... maybe... twice? I can only remember two times, but I can remember dozens of times when people tried. I can remember dozens of free kills.

    I'm not a super genius. I'm not MLGPro. I don't have all the experience in the world.

    Avoiding C4 takes an IQ of 50. Its as simple as not walking into a door. I find it unbelievable how someone can complain about it.

    I really don't know how many more ways I can express how simple it is to avoid C4, and how much it makes me want to facepalm because someone is actually unable to do so, and even has to complain about it.

    The stupid thing about C4 is that it is used as a grenade.

    The only modification they should made is having time to plant the C4

    I can use my vehicle once after I payed the 350 resources but I can use C4 only once after I payed 100 resources?:eek:

    Make C4 explode multiple times, and let me pick it up and rethrow it again. Lets balance this game!

    Are you THAT stupid?

    If a Platoon take out my tank. FINE THAT'S WHAT I WANT. A GROUP OF PLAYERS WORKING TOGETHER TO KILL MY TANK THAT I'VE SPEND 450 RESOURCES.

    But when we have HerpyDerpy who rushes to my tank 20 times and get killed 20 get lucky in the 21 try and kill my tank. NO that's not fair.

    Sir HerpyDerpy can keep trying forever and failing. the time he get lucky he will instagib me.

    Meanwhile i need to be 100% all the time while not inflicting any damage to him, you only lose C4 if you die after you placed it and any competent player try DON'T let you get anywhere near the range to place a C4.

    Take in account that in a big battle i have to deal with Rocke Launchers/ AV turrets/ MAXes/ Another tanks and 10 HerpyDerpies and you will see why tanks are useless.

    I have more power than infantry? yes. but at cost of 10 times more problems to deal with. It's just not worth using a tank right now.



    1- Dropod take 5 secs to show in the radar and the sound only begins when it's 5 meters from you. When the sound play in your client the guy who is dropping was already in the ground for 3~4 secs in his client and had more than enough time to plant C4. Until you actually find where he dropped he is already exploding your tank.

    2- unless your tank is different from mine i can't shoot straight up. ANY competent player land over the tank.

    Again for more you guys come and say "but i spend 200 resources to kill ONE tank i deserve it".
    No you don't. when you equip C4 you aren't taking any risk. If you die you don't lose it. If you need to change the role/playstyle you don't lose it.
    While when you use a tank. You can't "despawn" it and take your resources back like C4. If you need to change to infantry you need to abandon your tank. You can't even change from AP to HE when the battle changes.(you "win" the battle against other tanks and now infantry are the only target)
    While most of the players can argue "but anyone can use tanks".
    I bring the fact: that while most of the players prefer to go as a infantry, we still have "dedicated" tank drivers. who spend 10k of certs in their tanks. When they get their tanks blown they CAN'T use these certs.
    "instagibbing" a tank was "fine" before because a tank was cheap, if a tank driver lost their tank they could just respawn another. Now that's not even close of true.
    If you plant the C4, die and you lose the resources you still using all your certs, even certs for another C4.

    Any player who actually think it's "fair" a single player destroy a tank by himself when he don't actually take any risk in the mean time is fair. is nothing else then a moron.

    I don't have a change. Even with my infantry supporting me i just don't. I have a chance againt Rockets AV Maxes with support of my infantry.(Eng Repairing)

    But this doesn't happen with C4. Even with my infantry covering me. they only need one person to get lucky.

    That's why tanks are useless right now.

    Ok, first of all requiring multiple players to kill a tank is pretty absurd because that tank only requires one person to operate it (granted it would be more effective with 2, but only 1 is required), and it's certainly capable of instagibing lots of infantry.

    Secondly, the engineer can carry up to 4 bricks of C4 with the Utility Pouch cert, so unless you require 5+ bricks of C4 to kill a single tank, a solo player can still do it.

    As a C4 abuser, I should let you guys know that after I blow up my victims, I take a trophy. Sometimes it's a burned piece of metal from your tank, or a smoking helmet (with goggles if you're TR!), maybe a leg. I will sometimes place a dud C4 on your vehicle terminals as a warning.

    It is pathetic to see you complain. A tank has every possible advantage over an infantry player, not to mention if you get c4d then you did it at a place where LA can hover and fly above you like say a cliff or tech plant and you also are unaware and lastly you just suck. Run Prox if it is that big of a deal. I was killed recently by c4 for the first time in many weeks because guess what, I was not paying attention to the trees above me and I got tunnel vision, also before that I killed a few tanks and atleast 20 infantry. Seriously deal with it.

    Don't be so over-dramatic. Tanks aren't supposed to be your invincible murder machines. I have no trouble in my tanks and almost never get killed by C4.

    And really, the only legitimate complaint I've seen you make is the drop-podding c4 kills. But that isn't an issue with c4. That's an issue with the drop pod system.

    If you think a tank should be soloable by infantry (who have no resource cost and can respawn in a few seconds versus 450 resources and 20 minute cooldown without certs) then you, sir are a part of the overall problem. Infantry CAN solo tanks and that is completely wrong. It should not be that case at all.

    Tanks and infantry should be working together, but instead tanks have to hide like cowards anytime an LA comes within 2 miles because they could just squad deploy or beacon deploy right atop the tank from far away and instagib it.

    They are useless. You keep trying to argue that 'well they can get 30 kills before they die WAAAAH' but that has no baring on actual, outfit or squad based team play with tanks, in which they are USELESS.

    Currently they are designed and played by solo players to just farm, they need to be completely redesigned so they help squad play and don't get nearly as much score per hour (KDR is a **** stat)

    To be fair aren't all tanks in this game bad considering they rule neither the open field nor facilities/courtyard fights ? I agree tanks afraid of infantry are bad, and how they function in a combined arms game shouldn't be like that either. I always liked you Jak;) :D
