How to turn off flashing alert?

    I'm returning to PS2 after a hiatus of about 6 months. Some nice new features, but what's with the flashing red light on the upper right-hand corner of the UHD? I don't like it. I want to make it go away. "Clicking for details" doesn't make it go away. How do I turn it off?

    Toggled UI elements is on the to-do list. Eventually there will be a place in the settings menu where you will be able to turn it off.

    The flashing alert doesn't bother me as much as the names of outfit members popping up in the middle of my screen whenever they log on.
