How it feels to play PS2

That part at the beginning, where the guy walking in the door is happy? That's me when I first log on, looking forward to a fun fight.

The kick in the balls? That's me, trying to fight against stupidly overpopped enemy empires, without the mission system, global lattice, Hossin, lock on changes, ESF update, etc etc etc.

That part at the end with the laughing? That's Higgles telling us the performance might get better in a month.

The bag contains bugs that have been in game since beta?

I don't see the part where you stop playing and we're all glad to see the back of another TR player.

It feels better when you are doing the kicking. Remember you can still kick a lot of butts in a battle you may not win.

Reminds me of how every time I try and play, I look at the server populations, and my faction is severely underpopped on each server I play on. (VS/Mattherson, TR/Connery, NC/Waterson) And that's actually exactly how it is at this moment.

There will always be places to fight where your population is relatively even to those of your enemy, if you like that sort of thing. There is no glory to be found in even fights!

funny you mention that, i went back and read one of the first threads I ever made AFTER launch and it was "When will Vehicle HUDs not drop my FPS by 10-15? This has been an issue ever since I joined the beta" (Dec 22nd).

I want to play my matherson TR but they are usually high pop and thats not as fun to me

I didn't say anything about specific empire overpop, cause I fully appreciate that TR is mad overpopped on several servers. Overpopped empires suck for everyone, on every server, on every empire. 10PM or so happens to be VS **** stroking time on Mattherson, I don't know why but it's a fact - but that happens to be the time I can play, and there's no server transfer tokens (ahem).
