How do you guys feel about the outfit merges Jaegersons?

Haven't played in a while my fellow Jaegersons. I left right before the merges. I am going to start playing again but yeah, how do you guys feel about the merges. I still personally believe with Jaeger being bigger and all it should have taken the name. That or even better, merged with Soltech.
Also, how is the Jaeger Initiative? I doubt its success due to the merges with Waterson Q_Q but hope in the future it will come up again.

Jaeger is no longer Jaeger, it is now Waterson.

It's been pretty good I must say. I think we had a much larger percentage of our population in outfits.... seems like I see a WHOLE lot more lower rank unaffiliated players since merge.

I think Waterson might have actually had more unique players... but Jaeger was more active cause we had tons of hardcore players.... we practically had no randoms left except at the crown.

Pretty much. The overall skill of Jaeger players was higher simply because it was a lower population server.

If you crested a hill at the crown, you were instantly killed. Chances are most tanks had faction specific upgrades. More players had flak armor. The average battlerank was about 20-25 and about 50% of them were good shots.
People were far better at tracking zergs/reading the map simply because we had to actually look for a fight.

Only the guys that liked that style of combat stuck around.

I love waterson personally. It has a much wider skill variety, and much more chaos. I love the massive fights and I love the new outfits. The last month has produced battles on a scale unheard of on Jaeger.

Why?

Because every Jaegerite has Jaeger Pride.

Every player on Waterson that came from Jaeger will still identify themselves as Jaeger players.

We had amazing outfit on outfit competitions because that is literally all there was.

We all played hard to keep our server active and fun, and we rightfully take pride in that.

Waterson was the most populated US server, Matherson was second. Who told you otherwise? New faces, nothing more. None of them are any better or worse than what we already had on Waterson. If anything it has been easier to get kills, but it's probably due to the sheer number of targets now. Also, spacemilk. Were you the one who got all his threads locked on the Jaeger forum when you wanted Waterson to be named Jaeger?

The first week of the merger was everyone getting to know the other outfits on Waterson and how they play. The Second week was one of the best battles I have every been part of and gotten the most kills in of all time. TR Jaegar outfits came together to stop the NC from capping Amerish with just one place left. We stopped them from capping it and if you watched it from Blackbird you could see that they were alot of "WHAT's" that night from the NC! Blackbird has removed that nights video but it was so funny the next night when I watched the video to hear him say " Do we have the point Guys!" - Blackbird "NO" --- Someone in his outfit "WHAT" - Blackbird; That is right that is the first night he ran into HSTL! We where hunting MAR MAR at Raven and we found him at Ascent with his friends, when we get called back to Raven because the NC where showing up. Over all it was one of the best nights ever!

Waterson has more registered players, but not alot of active players vs Jaeger.
Of course I'm talking about pre merge Waterson.
As for the threads, alot of people wanted Waterson to be named Jaeger. I didn't make a ton of threads saying "NAME WATERSON X" but I did make one thread about exploring the possibilities of other names. It never got locked. If there was some locks it wasn't me.

Oh and yeah the battles are amazing. Bigger and better and funner and epic.
Maybe I just feel like because I have not played PS2 in months.

call it whatever you want... we'll ALL have to call it Matherson within the year....

Ugh I hope not. I'm not keen on being on the same server as the Enclave.

The day we see Cajual and BuzzCutPsycho on the same server is the day I leave.

Does Cajual even play still?

He was unbanned, to my knowledge.

I did make alot of threads. Just not of the same topic like name changes, and they were not locked until it became a flamewar.
