How do people get such high SPM

Auraxium subscription, boosts and lots of time on the Dalton for the most part.

I want to know how these guys get 35,000 score on a 4min base cap when I press tab to look at the scorecard...
There is always 1 or 2 guys in the 5 digits and everyone else is 4 digit score..
If someone was making that kind of score, wouldn't the entire platoon I'm in have to be dead repeatedly?
Yet it seems as if we are camping their spawn and there is no resistance..
Somehow the top the scorecard is always some enemy with 35,000 score..
Does spawn camping the 1 way shield really pay that well?

Yeah.
I just rechecked, and after yesterdays lightning run I did solo, I now technically by far have the best SPM of my squad (My lightning SPM is roughly 175, based on last nights session, albeit, it was a good session.)

it always includes boost. alpha squad + sub = 6 months at +100% xp, then throw in 20% on alerts, and an addition 0-30% for pop imbalance.

My biggest gainers:
1. In a vehicle farming Infantry
2. Have a Sunderer parked nearest an epic battle
3. Medic revive and heal while fighting
4. Engineer repair
5. Engineer ammo

Remember that you also get a big bonus for doing most actions for a Squad/Platoon mate. Alerts, defense, Continent population, etc all affect EXP too.

If you rarely break 150 SPM, my recommendation is as follows:
Join a Squad/Platoon that plans on fighting for an alert. Play Engineer the entire time. Always have an AMS Sunderer deployed nearby. If your Sunderer is on cool-down, get a Lightning or a MBT until the timer is done. Drop ammo every chance you get. Be the first to repair anything.

You'll be amazed at how fast you'll make 150 certs

Play with a good outfit and kill lots of bad guys always works for me.

Instant action bution is your friend

Boosts, membership, playing during prime time exclusively in high-activity zones.
On some weekends, I can sometimes average about 500+ SPM with no boosts. Usually I average around 180-250 SPM on weekdays before prime time.

I sustain 30-40k SPH in nearly every biolab defense I participate in. Medic or engineer is easy money. Somewhere between 25-30k SPH otherwise, just jumping around between high intensity fights in general and playing a wide variety of infantry/vehicle kits. I don't consider myself awesome, but I can hold my own.

(Note: 100% base xp bonus from boost+sub.)

I'll admit I have a sub and alpha boost, but I do get a decent score from running with my outfit and using my lasher. I get far more kills at mid/close range then most people do with it as well.

Having a high frame rate is also vital.

I agree. The difference between 20 fps and 60 fps is huge.
Ping/lag is just as vital. It's rarely a big chunk at once, but ping/lag will consistently rob you of experience over time.

I find that playing shooter games under 30fps is significantly detrimental to one's performance.

High SPM you say?

Spawn ammo sundy, follow tank zerg, profit.

Spawn repair sundy, follow tank zerg, profit.

Spawn esf, lolpod tanks, profit.

Spawn tank, farm infantry, profit.

Spawn ammo sundy at the crown with weapons like bulldogs on top, park it near tanks, get squad mate to stay in your ammo sundy, spawn fresh repair sundy, park it next to your ammo sundy, get squad mate to stay in repair sundy, spawn tank, park in front on your ammo sundy and repair sundy, MEGA ROFL PROFITS SO MANY POINTS YOU WILL WET YOUR PANTS. (takes some time and cooperation to set this one up though).

Max membership bonus and an xp boost coupled with a lolpodding esf or a fully certed medic in a biolag fight will net you crazy spm.

They do, and I wouldn't call a potential +100% trivial...

Log on only for the end of alerts as the winning faction.

I got 400 SPM using LA on my VS character with a +50% modifier.
Mostly just busy tower fights. Crash my Scythe into it, throw my beacon on top, and begin to kill.
Towers really fit my play style well.
