How do I change my IGN prefix?

    So I have had this prefix "Sgt. 1st Class" in front of my ign for a while now (I'm lvl 34) and I can't change it to anything else. I'm trying in game through Esc -> Profile and the menu under my ign and next to the menu for selecting character voice. I can choose different prefixes from the menu but they don't save. If I click on something else, weapon tab for example, my prefix resets to Sgt 1st Class.

    This might be really noobish question but what am I doing wrong? How can I change that "Sgt. 1st Class" to something else? Got this thread on technical support for almost a week now, just hoping someone would give me some advice on this forum section.

    That's strange. Your method should be the correct one. You're not mixing it up with your outfit name? Otherwise make a ticket.

    I'm pretty sure I'm not mixing it up with outfit name. Thanks for your help, will contact the customer support.

    Oh i had this bug, you have to be alive to change it for some reason. So just spawn in and try changing it. Otherwise, yes call customer support.
