How are the new SMGs as a infil weapon?

    Not what he is talking about Scan! Most weapons are class restricted. I was wondering the same thing tick inf, weapon not on the list. Made me think it wasen't available for inf class. So if i buy the SMG, i can use it on any class?

    Thats the idea, albeit why you would wish to tote a SMG on a HA or Engie is a bit of a wonder. :)

    The SMG's killed the full auto scout rifles.

    Because the SMG is an "all class" weapon, it won't show up if you tick one class, even if that class is able to use it.

    Leaving all classes unticked should make it visible.

    Just leave everything unticked, and only tick the SMG box. I can guarrantee it'll show.

    There really is no point to using them anymore? Hopefully the "badassification pass" stuff developers were talking about fixes this and the other more pointless weapons. When was it supposed to be happening again?

    SMGs are TERRIBLE. So disappointed compared to my full auto scout rifle. That auto scout is waaay better. These things run out so fast, no need to Nerf them. No sir, you'd be better off flinging poo at people for all the good these do. I mean compared to infils with shotguns in beta, pff no contest. (These things are great, I'm actually enjoying infiltrating. Don't talk about them too much, or they might get nerfed into scout rifle status) I mean honestly these thongs are a joke!! Don't even try rebalancing them, just leave them as they are and let them be forgotten as the junk they are.

    TLDR: better off flinging your poo.

    I have both the extended mag and the advanced laser, I tried them both and the laser is just too good. The accuracy is amazing and since the NC SMG has the highest damage you can tear though enemies with headshots.

    compared to carbines, the smgs lose in every way. So we're still not really cqc capable.

    Haven't seen the video, but the SMGs seem to be pretty reasonably competent at killing, and CoF is probably the tightest in the game...

    Do the infiltrator autorifles beat carbines?

    And a couple quick questions, what's the STK for the TRAC-5 and the NC stock carbine?

    SMGs are fantastic. A laser is not even needed on them, although an ammo belt may be. They have extremely controllable recoil and tight hipfire. Another bonus is that the hipfire CoF doesn't expand nearly as fast as the carbine hipfire CoFs.

    They work best on infiltrator and engineer in my experience.

    STK on the TRAC is 7 shots and STK on the Merc is 5 I believe.
