Routers = farm OS = farm killers nasons tunnel farm right now the tunnel farm only stays steady if people get to keep their routers not if someone os's them every 2 mins routers aren't tough to find or kill. without os. wish routers hung to the sides of walls and ceiling. to hide them.
its against their narrative that all logistic, stuff that you worked hard for, keep the fight alive or paid a lot of nanites should die in one bullet from invisible infiltrator
Can you stop and first try look into Planetside 2 from 2012. Its original design, compare it to what we got now, ask yourself how we got here and then post a topic? Simply said without communities' game is dead. That's a sad perspective where it's frowned upon to cut off enemy's logistical spawn. It's just, you're no longer playing a game anymore.. What is this? And also, performance is deteriorating so much that it is actually close to unplayable. An extreme example, on Oshur my FPS is able to jump from 200 to 24... And on all other continents, graphics must be downgraded so much (it's not possible to lower it more) to maintain stable FPS of what I had back then, with ultra settings... And nothing changed, even graphics appear worse and incomplete because no new assets were created for their new graphical design.
The router is easy to kill. I can knife most routers before 20 guys see me. Only 0.1% of the time is 20 guys able to defend a router from my pistol, smg, or knife. Even worst if the enemy is able to sniper/scout/battle rifle shoot routers, which the routers suggest to be flat out immune to. So by no means is routers not dying to os's a sad thing. If anything make the router x10 more creative to hide, by letting it stick to the sides & ceilings of walls. As well as have a even smaller box to greenlight for positions, meaning it should greenlight ontop of crates. As for graphics, I've played with a low settings laptop for years. So when I do play high settings, I'm kinda in awe. Ye the graphics could be as good as 2012. I still don't see why people believe other newer battle royal games, have better graphics, when they don't. Most Battle Royal games look cartooney, even the ones not suppose to be. I don't think Call of Duty; Warzone, Halo Infinite, Fortnite, Apex, Valorant, Overwatch, Battlefield or any of those games have " better " graphics than PS2. most of those games are newer & have had way more funds. Many of the " destructible rooms " for battle royals, remind me of some Sims game. Or not that far from Counter Strikes graphics. The fact is IF Your playing a LOBBY or BATTLE ROYAL over a MMOFPS then YOU are a NOOB. Sir. The rest just follow the fake hype, they may as well be playing Raid Shadow Legends.
routers are busted when placed in the correct location, routers have become a problem with cheaters too, back then when kill camera didnt exist, players would place routers under the map Via exploits clipping through terrain, and routers could not be killed by your own team. kill cam was introduced and they also added your name of the router in the deploy map so people could know the exact name of who placed the exploited router to report them, hackers still do this exploit as it doesnt matter if they get banned they find a way around it obviously which is why they cannot and will not ever make routers non destroyable by orbital strikes or any other means due to these kinds of people who exploit them. what i do wish is that they increased its range again. the glory days of the router is gone when they removed the ability to place it anywhere on the map because it had no range limiter, all i used to do back in the day was make a router base at warpgate and then fly to both opposite factions fights and cause random 3 ways in biolabs or tech plants, fun times interupting other two factions fights, it can still be done, but more risk now you have to build closer, and theres always that one light assault loser who spends his entire time finding it to destroy it to make himself feel like a little hero. if you do try this u can just run a solo squad and use the attack and defense markers to call random people who press join combat to your aid, i used to call in hordes of players at will just doing this it was funny. i still use this trick not many know about to call people to aid my playerbase as its connected to join combat. works everytime.
Hmm. Your right. Still don't find keeping it this way to be the solution either. " os's kill glitched routers " well a glitched router is only gonna happen once per week or 2 for Emerald. Meanwhile 400 routers got OS'ed, who didn't glitch. Whenever I see a glitched router, it wasn't built near a silo os anyways, so they still have to use mines to destroy it. If the router shows who glitched; then everyone knows who is doing that, to report. Maybe just show the name of who killed the router for the chat window. Similar to how they show or should show, who started the OS, for chat. Then you know if a ally tk'ed the router with mines, since the chat shows who killed the router. At the very least, the routers don't need to die to Ally OS's. Theirs ways to ban people who glitch, tell people to mine glitched routers, & show chat who mined the router. Rather then just making router deployers, drive their flash 1 mile out, 24 times >.> to replace the router farm. For sure nasons tunnel farm needs routers that don't disappear every 2 min. Esp when half the tunnel your not able to deploy the router without a grenade hitting. & tbh; regular routers dying to OS at Nasons is 1000% more likely; than having to worry about that 1 glitched router per month. So what's more important to fix; 10 hours of me replacing routers? per month. Or 10 mins of figuring out how to inspire others to mine a glitched router? per month. Sometimes you'll fly a esf or drive a flash to put a router down & a freaken OS goes off 2 seconds later. Maybe players just spot click the router, to open a menu. Similar to the spot menu you go to, when you want a silo turret or silo vehi term to only be used for your squad. Then they vote it's a glitched router, 8 votes disappears the router. done.
Tho ye the simple fix verses glitched routers. 1) highlight the router owners name better 2) don't allow anyone under BR 40 to unlock the router item.
I think the problems with Orbital strikes stems not from the Sky laser itself and what it can and can not kill, but that you can have an Orbital Strike as a Pocket nuke, as an outfit consumable resource. The player base orbital uplink building is completely fine. Because it takes time and effort to fire a base orbital strike. You have a to defend an outpost. Some attackers are holed up in a side building. Inside they have a router, a few MAXes and support staff to keep everything alive. So you pull an ANT, build a base, build an Uplink, fuel your silo, defend your base and then you have to wait about 10 minutes for your orbital uplink to charge. And only then can you drop an Orbital strike on that building. I don't anyone ever complained about a player base OS. But with the outfit OS? Oh, that MAX over there is a minor inconvenience, just drop a nuke on it, haha. That is the problem. Zero effort for maximum effect.

OS player doesn't? the routers players no do anything only Silo > routers > spwan this is CMBC ways and now you obey they them ?
the range needs to be increased, keep it the same health but tweak it so it takes 2 os to kill instead of 1 maybe
I can't believe this is even a discussion. Routers are so easy to replace. Redeploy back to your throwaway player base in a ravine, grab another one, pull a valk from your airpad, drop back in and replace it.
Ye. survive 2 os's. good. I was just at Saerro, had to replace 20 times. Not counting the times you die trying. Most farms eventually get 3 OS's surrounding them. Plane silo term cost nanites now, which is good, yet you still have to wait after a few runs. Even if you see one os, instead of 2 or 3 nearby, you still have to replace once per 2 min. Theirs only a few router guys; it's a chore. At least routers don't need to die to ally os. At least routers don't need to die to a os that's 20 yards outside the blast. Most bases don't even have many hidden areas to hide a router. I was trying to find a " secret " spot for Watersons yesterday. Everywhere is some walkway people use every minute. Besides a wall top that gets found 1 min later. Roofs? enemy LA fly up there immediatly every time for sure. Top of the crows nest? sniped. Why I wish they hung on the ceiling or sidewalls and took up less room to greenlight. Some bases have some hidden spots; tho most bases are designed for infantry to walk around the whole base non stop & theirs not really hidden rooms or hidden hallways. Look at towers! Put the router on top of the tower a enemy LA immediatly flies up there and kills it. Put the router below the airpad, also dead. So theirs only one place to put the router, the 2nd floor side patio. Yet that gets found. So theirs nowhere for a tower unique or hidden for a router. You got enemy infantry walking around the whole tower; their no side wall hitch for a secret router. You can put the router on the ground, have your team attack the garage. Yet your gonna have to replace every 1 to 2 min. If your flying to the tower roof, you might have to wait for your esf nanites to restock. I'm glad routers work on tree branches; yet besides that, their def not hidden creatively enough. Wanting a small router pad box to greenlight. Works on a crate? no? well ok.
Just give routers spawn fall dmg resist and let the router hang on the sides of nason trees. I want the router to place inside the Nason stumps near B & won't. Want router to place ontop of a Nasons tunnel crate, won't. If only the router pad was a sticky grenade. Def all the unique spots are the celling of Scarfield warehouse and sidewalls.
