I posted this in gd earlier today but it immediately got drowned by the typical idiocy, hopefully this forum appreciates the sheer awesomeness of this: So very very sweet.
The continent in general is just as epic so far. Even the bases that aren't in the densely forested areas are fairly epic and distinct. I mean, there's a base that's built on a huge dam. Not to mention the absolutely epic interlink facility that looks like it'll combine the three satellites with the main structure for a large structure with a fluid battle flow with sections and levels of progression for an assaulting force. They took a long time with this continent and apparently made it past some technical hurdles that limited how many assets they could use to bring this out. It definitely shows when you look at it.
Don't land your aircraft in the algae water at the dam! Don't even dip your foot in it! It's apparently sulfuric acid, and causes instant death! What is it with these dev's love for instant death? Flip over a vehicle? INSTANT DEATH! Let's wrap invisible proximity mines around the edges of all the landing platforms. INSTANT DEATH! (Thankfully that was removed.)
