Lately I've had this horrible mouse stutter in planetside that makes the game almost unplayable. The best way to describe it is that it's as if sometimes the game just stops recceiving any input from the mouse for a short interval. If you've ever had a loose connection on your mouse cable, it feels kind of similar to that. In fact I first thought that my cable was at fault except that the issues only exist in Planetside. The issue also seems to get worse depending on how much activity there is in the world around me. In empty areas it's usually just tiny stutters while in bigger battles the mouse is frozen about as often as it isn't. If I'm not mistaken the game also doesn't register either mousebutton down nor up signals during a stutter. The issue persists regardless of whether raw mouse data is enabled. It also shouldn't be a performance problem since my FPS stay persistently between 50 and 80. Does anyone have any idea what might cause something like this?
