Resource revamp next than from there would be continents added followed by infantry updates as well as new vehicle variations and upgrades too the ones we have.

Empire specific buggies. The Deliverer. Need more variety in the combat.

  3. Zorro

We need more empire specific everything. We need new vehicle types like IFVs, self-propelled artillery, medium tanks, and more models for vehicle types that exist. However, it would be vain and harmful to request this before a resource overhaul.

    Resource revamp, cont locking/lattice.

That's all. I don't care about anything else half as much. Do nothing else for the next 6 months still a better game.

I like that at least SOE are giving ballpark figures now, but everything else pales in comparison to getting PS2 to at least PS1's most fundamental metagame mechanics.

Cont lattice needs the BI's and Hossin, so sure, all steam ahead there. And that'll give fights some focus.

And resource revamp as logistics, not only makes the strategic game more than just blob warfare, it also could finally be a mechanism to deal with population imbalance.

    Nothing. Else. Vaugely. As. Important.

Have. Been. Saying. This. For. Over. A. Year.

An overhaul of all the bases that haven't been given a second pass yet. (ie: all of Indar, really). The base designs are really bad and just encourage spawn locking. It is way too easy for the attackers - to the point where it is actually boring to attack bases it is so easy.

There are some good examples of better base design on Amerish and Esamir. Implement those designs on Indar.

How about an single man glider/plane that can't carry weapons and can't be locked onto (can be destroyed however from flak or direct hits). It comes with an ejection seat so you can drop in but ejection only works from 750m or higher to prevent people from doing tactical drops into places they shouldn't be (such as on top of towers).

The purpose would simply be for transportation and nothing else. It can travel 150 kph and is basically just there for the lone wolves (team play already has the Galaxy) that wanna be able to get to fights on the continent without spawning an ESF or having to chain suicides together to travel from territory to territory.

If development time is going to be pissed away on new vehicles we don't need as opposed to key underlying gameplay mechanics that might give the game more depth, I want a flying unicorn that shoots lazer rainbows, make it NS so it'll be easy to balance.

  8. Zorro

That is of a very low priority, hardly worth sacrificing everything else for the next six months.
  9. AccelPrime

    Continent locks/resource revamp.

Temp. join a squad on the hex you want to spawn on, squad deploy, leave squad & you're done.

That's what I do when i lone wolf.

He said what would we ask for, not "what is the most important thing to ask for".

This is SOE. If you ask for something that is ACTUALLY necessary, it probably won't happen. So you might as well ask for something we need but is of very low priority.

Not in an outfit so that is much easier said than done.

I would put Hossin at the same level as intercontinental lattice and contient locking since it is supposed to be designed with all of those in mind so when I think Hossin I think all of that.

Next I would go with outfit progression since Amerish Lattice is already next up on the chopping block with most of the Amerish revamp already on the Test Server.

Vehicle and class updates will come in between since the entire staff can't work on the same thing(different skills needed.

That wasn't in any order, I was just listing a bunch of things that I thought were more needed than extra cracking down on hackers.

Cheaters top priority??? I would say low priority. According to my experience, there arent many cheaters in PS2. Some people are suspicious, but it isnt a major problem. There are much more important problems, like fixing server lag, audio problems and all the little bugs which annoy me almost everytime i play. Of course, adding new contentis also more important!
    With new content i mean:
    • Amerish overhaul
    • Hossin
    • Continent locking and the lattice thing
    • New weapons! I mean really new, not a 9th version of a carbine with 1 stat changed. Im talking about fun and cool weapons, like in the good old FPS games. Weapons like freeze gun, particle accelerator, bio rifle, multi-rocket launcher, laser gatling, telsa gun, etc. Modern FPS weapons are so plain and unimaginative ...

Since Hossin is now scheduled for May, the only one thing I want (and am waiting for since the Beta) is an indicator of my deployed mines, to see how many are still actives. Very simple.

Or just check the road map. I thought that was where they got the feedback from? After a quick look it shows from what I can see amongst the most popular are:

    Continent locking:
2,951 likes - 160 down votes, Approval rating of 94.85%

    Hossin:
2,896 likes - 67 down votes, Approval rating of 97.73%

    Resource Revamp:
1,442 likes - 38 down votes, Approval rating of 97.43%

    Outfit Recruiting:
1,064 likes - 26 down votes, Approval rating of 97.61%

    Interlink Facility:
1,634 likes - 16 down votes, Approval rating of 99.03%

However then you look Outfit Leader Boards which has less than half in terms of support from the players that have given feedback and it still has a implementation date of April.... makes you wonder if they even when they read the forums (and I believe them when they say they do) just how much weight it puts behind the decisions they make in game

    Outfit Leaderboards:
373 likes - 397 down vote, Approval rating of 48.44% <- hint the majority don't want it so don't bother. Remove it from April and bump something up that has support.... the Interlink facility on all continents maybe it will make everyone happier

Buffs to make the MCG a half-decent sidegrade rather than a fun downgrade.
    And/Or
    Make the MCG underslung
    And/Or
Keep it the way it is now and give us a totally new underslung chaingun with different stats.

IMO the most important issue is spawn camping and base design. A battle should never devolve into spawn camping. The entire spawn system needs to be overhauled. #1 priority!

Asides from that the game needs more depth and complexity in all areas! As it is right now it's just a giant king of the hill with a couple vehicles here and there.

Make classes even more unique from each other. Bases should have special perks when you own them such as special weapons or even the ability to raise draw bridges or control and manipulate terrain.

It would be cool if there were special objectives outside of the main bases that appeared randomly to draw the battle out into the country. Or even special missions such as 'escort the VIP or vehicle payload' where you need to escort across the entire continent safely to an objective.

I'd also like to see flashlight mechanics similliar to Left 4 Dead. Pitch black corners and rooms that REQUIRE you to use a flashlight. Make nights even darker but add flood lights across main roads and bases. Allow generator or even AMP station control that lets you shut off the lights for your enemy.

I'd love to see an RPG level of complexity in this game wile still retaining the classic FPS feel.

Lattice to Amerish ALONG WITH MAKING THE DEPLOYMENT SYSTEM NOT TERRIBLE.

I could have wished for grander things, but you have to keep it simple.
