Battle Goose is okay but the 5 rounds are welcome on that and desperately needed on the other VS directive weapons. Marauder was best performing alredy. PPA you can't take more than 2-3 shots before missing everything, accuracy isn't rewarded that well either and it is impossible to lead outside of 10-15m. Sarons COF needs to be buffed to be as good as the vulcan. Heat mechanic is awesome as long as they make it so it has 6-10 rounds. Enforcer is the 2nd best AV now although the changes to it are needed.

sure thing fanboi ignore all the other bugs like getting launched out of your vehicle randomly when you exit it.

Or how about the one that's been around since the game came out. Set your vehicle to squad, and when a squaddie gets in, the vehicle does a flip that can instantly kill you if you are too close to the vehicle.

Yes I believe you the weird lag/ping issue is the only thing wrong with the game right now.

Hopefully as well as weapon / item buffs they also balance the game itself .. Ie: Remove the ability to entirely bypass smoke effects by tweaking the ini.

    Hell no it isn't.

Why would it need its mag dump almost doubled when it's already gaining the ability to tap-fire indefinitely without reloading? o_O

I don't have the stats page handy and don't feel like using my phone's calculator at the moment, but I'm pretty sure a 10 round Saron would do a little over 4000 damage in a mag dump (taking its +50% modifier against vehicles into account).

Getting our AV secondaries buffed to catch up with the new Vulcan is nice, but don't get greedy there. :p

I spoke with some people about this, and our verdict.. is that buffing the Saron and Enforcer to the Vulcan level is insanity.
  7. vanu123

I haven't had the ejection seat bug for awhile and I've never had that second bug happen to me/kill me.
  8. vanu123

    Yes it is.

    Doesn't matter.
An omni-burn, for the sake of balance would not be worth using compared to what a buffed forward boost would ever be. Why you may ask? Because the point where an omni-burned gets too good comes a long time before the point on a forward-only.

+ we'd lose some of the interesting interactions of the burner with the physics of the game precisely because the current only goes one way.

No thanks, I don't want my ability gutted just to please some ******* out there, as there's no way in hell we'll get to have an OP ability (which is what a strong omni-burner would be).

Ps: A weak omni-burner is waste of space, especially compared to a strong direction-tied boost.
  10. WaaWaa

As long as it doesn't happen to you all is well.
  11. vanu123

Well since I haven't seen it in so long after dying several times to the bug, I assumed it was gone.
  12. vanu123

I really don't think it would be that OP since the vanguard is practically invincible and the prowler can be artillery. Just have it go in the direction of your last WASD keypress and have a cooldown/recharge time period of 45seconds-1min. Or at the very least give the current magburn slightly more lateral control.
  13. Flag

    Sigh...
A shield has a very real and hard cap on what it can do.
    Evasion does not.

    + 45sec - 1min CD?
Get out. Stop ruining fun things.

I have to agree with Flag on this one, an omniburner would be less useful than the following in no particular order:
    1. Less drop on the main cannon
    2. More velocity on the main cannon
    3. Better elevation on the main cannon
    4. Faster recharge for Magburner
    5. Longer duration Magburner
Omniburner would be an extremely minimal buff where as any of those 5 I just listed would lower the monumentally high skill floor for the Magrider and make it a bit better as a line tank which it's currently not at all.

On release saron-h had shorter ttk on harasser than vulcan-h. Donno against other targets where reload plays more role.
  16. battlegoose

How about the addition of a reverse Magburn?

I'm starting to agree with Flag that I think a lateral burn would be relatively useless but the addition of reversal burning could be incredibly helpful. It could mean we could burn backwards and look to try to get one shot off as we are retreating.

Increase forward Magburn to 3 seconds of fuel and allow for a 2 second reverse burn. That'd be pretty fair and give the Magrider something unique since it'd be the tank that could move the fastest in reverse. It would also mean you could use it to get some distance between you and the pursuing tank before you had to turn your rear to them.

    Or a vertical magburn.

A Mako jump ability would be soooooo fun (and open to abuse)
  19. Flag

    But hey, it'd be fun.

Its not pointless to me. I am sick of having to depend on allied engineers to press one button to drop ammo. Running low on ammo is a thing that happens regularly to me. It gets so bad that I have to /tell people "Hey, I heard you get free certs if you press the F key".

I don't want a half *** heat mechanic where its still limited ammo. If anything, You should make ammo packs give assisted cooldowns for heat mechanic weapons.
