A small insignificant Planetside 1 logo decal... thanks SoE I see my many years of paying/playing for Planetside 1 with no updates since 2009 finally payed off.

What, what? You played PS1 for years in hopes of being rewarded for it in PS2? I do not think I follow...

I got one of those, and although I played PS1 a little, I never paid a penny for it. Ever.

I played PS1 since it came out and this and a title is what I get, IT IS TINY!!!!

Oh and we also get a title, Which is (As it is with all of them) hardly ever seen by anyone else (Seriously, What screen can you see them?)

It's cool, however... you can't even see the decal underneath composite armor if you bought that. Lol.

I honestly don't get why you expect to be rewarded for playing planetside 1, having fun should've been reward enough.
Sure it would've been cool to get something for it, but you're not entitled to anything.. Hell, They made planetside 2 free.

That's strange, I always felt my reward for playing PS was...having fun. But hey, if they're supposed to GIVE us stuff...well sheesh! I want a pony, and a new bike, and my 2 front teeth and and and....

Its not that, Its that if they are going to give us something AT-LEAST give us something worth-while like the original vanguard skin for our new vanguards.

Oh, I dunno. They gave us a gift. They were under no obligation to do so. They did something nice. And the response is? That they should give us BETTER free stuff? Man, you must be a joy to be around on Christmas morning! <LOL>

When someone gives me a gift, I say thank you. If I don't like it, I stash it in the closet. If I do like it, I use it. I don't berate the gift giver for not giving me something nicer. And if I give someone a gift that they lambast me for because they wanted something else? I never give them anything else again.

You may be my favorite NC ever, Wolfva. Couldn't agree more, I don't understand why they are giving anything to anyone for being a PS Vet, doesn't make much sense to me, but hey its cool if they did. But its meant to be a novelty, imagine having a medal from war that says "Hey I been doing this for years, all you new guys **** out my way." Granted no one pays attention to logos or decals in this game because we are to busy fighting.

Free stuff is free, man. I like my Veteran title that came with the patch. Old skins would be cool though, but no complaints here.

planetside 1 was fun, but near the end it was only just a few die hard fans left, and we had to deal with no updates and a abundance of hackers with SoE looking the other way.

I rather like my patch and title. I honestly think its a nice little nod to those of us that were there for the beginning. I secretly hoped that they would release the old beret and field cap, but a man can dream and then later pay $5 for it when its eventually released
