i am playing PS2 for a fiew month now. usually i ran PS2 with "high" settings @ 55 - 60 fps. since last week...and absolutly over night the frames are crashing from 55 to 30 going up to 45 going down to 26 going up to something...and so on. changing the graphic settings has no (!) effect. i tryed everything from low to ultra. while other games are running fine PS2 is unplayable at the moment. my system: i5 4970 r290 iceQ oc (4096) 8gb ram win7_64bit used ati drivers: 14.9 / 14.12 / 14.12 omega / 15.11 beta / 15.7 i also did a hole new system set up. so my system is absolut clean. needing help...
yes, i bought the hardware 10.2014. i think its still quite well. no overclocking at all (i dont like it). win 10...no didnt try it. good idea. i will try it this weekend.
Do the process explorer thing mentioned here, it helped me. https://forums.daybreakgames.com/ps...tuttering-hitching-after-update.234849/page-4 But don't kill any other threads, only the one that goes to 20%+ once in a while.
ok...it was a heat problem ! i don´t know why, but my cpu went up to 100 C . so i bought a new cooler and *tataaa* the frames are like they should. everything on max @ 55 - 60 fps. nevertheless...thanks for your tips.
