I've been medicing it up a lot lately as big fight rez machine/healmonster. I've maxed my bandoleer out with healing grenades and have been tossing them indiscriminately into groups of allies that are likely to get shot. It works fine for anyone in the field when the grenade detonates but if you enter the field after it detonates you get nothing. Is this working as intended?
I'm pretty sure during one of the server smashes I distinctly remember seeing enemies using them for for both splash and latent healing. Sounds like a bug to me. Perhaps someone else can confirm this as I don't actually play medic.
It just seems to me that if you're throwing a healing grenade, neither you or anybody else would want to go there in a hurry and you should just accept that the protagonists causing that are in a better position than you are to remain there.
