I keep checking to see if it gets fixed. Every time I start the game, I get bad_module_info then game close. I have reinstalled it 5 times. Tried the googled fixes etc to no avail. I would like to play again as a paying player but I am not going to pay for something that doesn't work.

Send a support ticket in via email - that's your best bet.

Unfortunately this seems to have been introduced by the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update - it effects lots of games and even worse, there is no one-easy-fix.

If you google it, there are LOTS of guides with suggestions - i'd say, follow those (disabling full-screen optimisations and running the exe in compatibility mode comes up often).

This is a fix for arma, but try doing the same thing to your planetside2.exe
    'Disable full screen optimizations'

I did, no response. Thanks though.

Tried it before, didn't work. I've tried just about everything on google to no avail.

I tried all of them, compatibility, the full screen stuff, can't uninstall the Windows update that I think screwed it up either.

I had this problem weeks ago, bad_modlu error, Its the old version of recursion that caused this for me.

Solved after i get the beta version of rercusion or dont use the recursion to play PS2.

I fixed it. I clicked settings, update and security, recovery, reset this PC. Yes it reset my PC, but it fixed my problem and will probably fix yours too.

Its the Microsoft windows update 1709 that ***** it up for everyone who has this problem. You must restore back, or in my case I had no restore point so I had to reset the PC. It's not a driver problem or anything like that, and it's especially not a game problem or game specific. Gotta go back to 1703.
