Since MuldoonX9 is marketplace and XP programmer, doesn't that mean his work is parallel to bug fixing?

    Brace yourselves!

Grenade spam of all sort incoming!! :p
  3. Pikachu

Every time an enemy bullet passes through the smoke and does not hit any player, a little XP tick.
  4. Tacom

Not interested. I don't play for the XP.
  5. Regpuppy

Since there's an limit of assisting players per kill, it would definitely help with group oriented AV weapons that take more than 2-3 guys to get full effect. Poke the designers!

    Muldoon pls

I was TLDR to read the entire thread but:

Does this mean you're going to make flash-bangs work? As it stands, I can flash-bang myself and it only works once in a while. It doesn't seem like it works at all on enemies.
  7. DevDevBooday

    NO!
    NO, PLZ NO!
    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

There is more than enough smoke spam as it is.
  8. Captain Kid

The marketplace is buggy to for god knows how long, I can't buy SC from inside the game.

Hoorah! Don't know if I've missed it any responses, but does this also reward XP for deployables destroyed (I noticed in the gfy that it applies to at least explosives destroyed), such as spawn beacons and medic shields? And does it count towards the directive?

My most played loadout has a grenade bandolier with EMPs, specifically for taking out deployables, it'll great to be finally rewarded for using it.
  10. Rohxer

    Awesome!

Does this mean that when we throw an EMP at a deployable, and it gets destroyed, we will now get credit in the Directive->Force Recon->Deployable destruction category?

Currently I can destroy a deployable with a frag grenade and get credit. But if I use an EMP I get no credit.
  11. MrJengles

Ah, I see. So if a coder added an area we could track enemies and/or friendlies and take a stab at it? It does seem difficult but I think something could be worked out (examples: enemy MAXes killed in the radius, enemy infantry without thermal, friendlies shot at but survive after X seconds). Even just sorting out half the cases it's used is surely better than none.

But in any case it's good to see XP on the other grenades and I appreciate the difficulty / responses.

    Couldn't care less.

    :p

Prepare for widespread EMP spam. Even your teammates will be getting you killed because of it.
  13. axiom537

Will you be subtracting XP when they Flash,Concus or EMP a friendly?

I have input, but that doesn't mean I get to go and change the value without say so from the person who owns the designer side of the experience.

Urrr. It sure looks like he got 10 XP for an explosive kill in that gif, immediately after the 200 XP for the kill.

  16. AdmiralArcher

so how much XP does one get when there are no XP buffs?

also, do you only get points for people who get killed while they are being affected?
  17. DatVanuMan

That doesn't sound worrying at allXD
  18. DatVanuMan

HMMMMMMMMMM... Might just invest in concussion grenades. Are they worth it, though?
  19. Phredd Pewter

I also loath the thought of rewarding the zergfit/trollfits who roll up in a constant shroud of smoke grenades. Friendly OR enemy!

While they ARE a valid strategy, they are also VERY annoying.
  20. Tuco

If you give us a large AOE "thing" to use, that has no risk of giving you grief points, but will probably give you XP; cost less resources than a regular grenade that has a small AOE, gives you grief points; we're going to be spamming these things in buildings that friendlies are in.
