Hey all, Snoopston here, throwing another guide at you. This time we will be looking at the harasser. If you like these please support me and I can continue to make content.
Well I lasted 16 seconds. TR player, favorite vehicle in the entire game being Harasser/marauder combo. YEP. I know where this is going.
actually listening through it, he thought it was maurader for A/I, but found out that max-magazine certs, Fury had a better TTK after a silent Maurader nerf
well i can get 100kills an hour with a marauder solo shelling behind a hill, no reason to waste 1k cert when you get easymode with 250 even if it had a better ttk, also marauder is 10 shots stock vs 6? on fury.
I get what your are saying man but I prefer to play the vehicle as intended and have fun with an outfit member as you can see in part 2 I mean if I wanted 100 kills an hour I could just go pull my prowler man. I maybe should have labeled it as a more TR focused guide, I have no experience with the nc ai weapon but I hear its pretty bad, also I actually prefer fury if I'm honest which since the silent marauder nerf is definitely the best ai choice when playing the harasser with a gunner aka not solo I am indeed a smoker a habit most frowned upon in this day and age, my voice isn't the best for YT vids but I do love to make em
I'll touch base on Chasis real quick, I exclusively drive Harassers whenever I'm online, also TR and with the Vulcan, Marauder and Halberd. I have max Scrapper, Surger and Racer and all three have their merits. Evading ESF nose guns is actually a lot easier with the Scrapper as you can turn and change your direction much faster. With Surger and Racer you can become stuck in predictable drifts too often. I also prefer it for rocking, it has the fastest reverse acceleration and speed and with max turn you can reserve and thrust in an infinite cycle. It's great for camping Sunderers, spawns and doors with a Marauder. Surger is my second favorite because you can climb pretty much anything, you won't be stuck on an incline getting pegged by rockets and you won't have to blindly turbo over it and pray for the best. It sticks to the ground easier and with less air time comes more maneuverability. The gunner seat is also a lot less jumpy, that's not a big problem for the Vulcan and Marauder but it helps the Halberder quite a bit. I always use Racer on Esamir, I think it's a must. There just aren't enough obstacles for Scrapper to zip around for cover or enough bumps to warrant Surger. For reasons I pointed out already, increased airtime and predictable drifts, this is my least favorite. Racer/Marauder, Scrapper/Vulcan and Surger/Halberd are the way to go.
Afterburner if you like going fast and, most importantly, occasionally flip your ride - Afterburning can, occasionally, unflip you! Smoke if you don't play TR though The 250 cert G2G launchers are awful at hitting a Harasser at speed but the Striker has no such problems. You usually have some idea who you're fighting, so having both smoke and turbo unlocked is a good plan for anyone who isn't TR.
Definitely a good idea if you don't have strikers Vanu AV Max with Vortex are also effective in the anti harasser role. Thanks for the Input mate Glad to see people adding info in, exactly the kind of information I am looking for others to contribute.
