Hacks that you've run into so far.

Rofl I think you should calm down. I've never known anyone to claim they're hacking when they're not. They were giving the name of their website. They said they were advertising hence why they were so open about it.

Edit: And besides, isn't there a large area around the warpgates which is a no-go zone? They were definitely within that.

I watched 2 hackers at the crown, one on our side VS and one on NC, they both dominated the map to the point it ruined the gaming for every single person out there. It was a tragic affair to say the least, all that came of it was a bunch of pissed of players like me, who in fact have quit cause of it. I have not logged into planetside 2 since Saturday night. I quit Planetside 2 and I'm here now to straight troll SOE.

I know what I saw, what 100 other people saw and that was a complete ruining of the game in moments. Thats how blatantly bad it was at the crown.

I blame SOE for doing NOTHING about it.

Oh yeah people don't think cheating will affect planetside population, you are completely wrong. I know I have not played since Saturday, my rl friends who played both have quit. I just go by the server populations which have been steadily declining everyday.

It will be just months from now, spring time when PS2 will be down to 1 east coast server, 1 west, 1 eu and 1 aus, thats it and it's cause of hackers.

I've been really looking for them, because I am really loving this game and am going to buy a big sub when my current 1 month runs out as long as the integrity of the game experience remains intact..

But, to be honest, other than a few people with suspiciously good aim on very long shots while I am running and jinking, I haven't noticed anything on Jaeger and I play ALOT.

I met some hackers (very friendly hackers) had a full-blown conversation with them, as well as reporting them. They were 'showing off' their hacks and promoting their website. That's about all the evidence I need.

You also seem to have extensive knowledge of what you think can and can't be hacked... and you react very defensively about people exposing them.

I am very against people throwing out random hackusations myself, since I've been on the receiving end of it before and it's frustrating as **** - but when someone a) says they're hacking and b) advertises their hacks... i'm not gunna let it lie and I will report them.

When people get cheated they quit in droves. Yes there are many other reasons why people leave a game but cheating typically causes the earliest exit strategy. I just know I quit cause of hacking and so did 2 of my friends. So tell me just with us that is 3 players down.

Who said a player was invisible? I know I never said that. I did say that a player was using an aimbot with a speedhack shooting far faster than possible. I never said a thing about invisible, maybe you need reading comprehension lvl 2.

I'm on woodman.. only seen one hacker. And that one we're all 100% sure about in my outfit, been reported a 100 times and no ban, not mentioning names for obvious reasons, but he's VS.

I wonder how many people that believe in hackers also believe in global warming.

However, note, your 3 examples are hardly representative of the larger population. Unless you can seriously tell me you have questioned a large sample of players quitting, and the majority reason is due to hacking, you have no place to claim that everyone is quitting due to hacks. It is not a logical assumption to make, statistics nor logic can favor such an assertion. Your reasons for quitting are known, the other 10k players are left unaccounted for. Its totally unknown as to why, you can't say it is not.

Planetside 2 has been out for 2 weeks and already the community is completely jaded with the cheating. I watched APB fall apart from hacks. I've watched a lot of games die via hacking so please don't tell me hacking is not part of the equation, it'sa a huge part, especially for long term growth.

Planetside 2 has no anti hack, no spec option, no demo record. No NOTHING. Take a game with 1000's of players, with headshots, in a playingh area that is vast and then factor in SOE and you have yourself the biggest playground for hackers in all of pc gaming. Planetside 2 will be the most hacked game in pc history. I stand by that statement.

I have seen the warping hack, but up until now i was not sure if it was my graphics card glitching or not. I have also seen aim bot.
