Yes, there is a ton of hackers, in the past years there was 0 hackers, but now... Sometimes i think about give up with this game, but i still persist, kids gonna try hard.
People still using hacks no doubt. Aim shots from standard carbine within 300meters still ok on the miller. More over im sure lots of players uses walhack, cose they always knew were you hidding
This makes my brain ache . Watching your videos explaining server lag . Id rather watch paint dry. If you play games long enough you can definately tell the difference between server lag and hacks. When a guy fires a sniper rifle faster than my smg and all shots are headshots thats not lag. Just cause you play on Emerald and dont see any hackers doesnt mean theres not any on other servers.
weird **** happens on the internet man, not always hacks just saying. hell for all i care your *** couldve been lagging it snapped back into place right as he showed up and it seemed like he shot a million times but it was 3 that didnt register yet (drastic example i know) all i was doing was explaining those videos, not saying theyre arent hackers thank you come again sseen you next trip have a nice fall, auf wiedersehen. its not a hack, its you and everyone else lagging and de-syncing. There's no fixing it, SOE has to do that (or whatever they call themselves now) Just play and live with it like everyone else.
Then you just haven't been paying attention. I've only been playing PS2 for a few months now, all of it on Emerald, and I've seen at least a dozen blatantly obvious hackers. Several within the past week alone. They are very hard to miss unless you're intentionally blinding yourself to them. Players that scatter around randomly on the minimap in impossible ways, lightnings with turrets rotating rapidly, seemingly unaimingly (and try to do that with your mouse without having to stop and reposition either your mouse or fingers), while firing shots that hit you, then blink out of existence to just reappear a frame later further away from you and to the side, doing the same thing, then blinking into a different spot yet again. all of that still sounds exactly like internet lag. there arent as many hackers as youd think. cant say the same about exploitation though, which i see all the time *cough invisibility bug cough*
It isn't internet lag... I've been on the internet since 1980, and have written programs that long as well... I know the difference between lag and programmed behavior. There is nothing laggy about the behavior I observed. You guys keep blaming too much on lag, and lag doesn't explain everything. -- Smoov
This game is now rife with hackers, especially lag switchers. Anyone who claims otherwise is either dishonest or clueless. And that nonsensical lag excuse is now just tired, old and lame. If it were even remotely true, it wouldn't just be favouring the usual suspects over and over again, regardless of server conditions.
well yea i can always be wrong, i just find it weird that so many of these hacker threads came up around when SO....i mean DGC started having server issues. course then again that could cause hackers to be able to get into it....hmmmmmm
Maybe more of those 'hacker threads' started coming up as people are hoping that under new management, we'll finally get a new attitude that will actually do something to try to counter the problem rather than sticking their heads in the sand that the previous management appeared to be doing. -- Smoov
