Hackmax has broken the game

I can't help but feel like the NC are the underdogs when it comes to weapons. Sure, they hit hard, but the hit part can be harder than, for example, holding down the fire button and spraying for effect (*cough* TR weapons *cough*). According to the lore, the NC pack a punch and like it close and personal. This is the definition of the NC MAX. It excels in close quarters, but it kneels down in pretty much every other environment.

I can't believe how much has changed over the years. People never used to complain like this. There was nobody calling stuff overpowered or underpowered, people took responsibility for their failures, and blamed it on their skill, not the weapon/mechanic.

they can be if you are trying to take a continent from the NC but if your group is smart they will get the biolabs fast and not save any for last,this prevents a scattmax lockdown and makes taking the cont rather simple.

Secret Pro tip to kill NC maxes. Take 5 steps backwards and shoot a Deci up his nose.

People have always complained. Not sure what dreamland you're living in.

It's no secret NC uses their MAX more than any other faction. It's the reason they make beeline pushes to Allatum. It's also the same reason VS pulled more Magriders when they were OP than any other faction. If it's effective and destructive, players will use it and abuse it as much as possible and while we can adapt and find new tactics, the inherent unbalance still makes it frustrating until the devs address it.

As someone who faces against these on a server where NC outnumbers me 2:1 I can still tell you, as a matter of fact and science, there is nothing wrong with your MAX. Its the only one I'm actually afraid of running face first into, but it also tends to "blow its wad" in the first couple of seconds. Seems to take a while to reload. If that is what constitutes "overpowered" then you can keep it.

I (also) play against them frequently as a VS max... they will end you at a certain range, but I kill them more than they kill me by a long shot (get it... GET IT?!?!)
Plus my MAX is sexier than thou... and fires forever... and comes with a lolly... bwha... BWHAHA

Where all the maxes are supposed to be effectively used (as indoor tanks), there is no place for VS/TR maxes when scatt/hack are camping. They are completely broken, there is no balance here. Some NC players think they are OK and everyone sucks... very funny.

I play a scattermax and can tell you from personal experience that if people play properly there's nothing I can do to not get killed by them. I mean all it takes is for them to move away a bit and it renders me harmless. Sure, a shotgun is better in close range, but alternately a rifle is better in medium and long range. I'm saying that it's not OP. It's working as intended. And it only gives an advantage in a certain scenario... as intended.

Huh? I see NC MAXes everydamnwhere. More than TR/VS MAX combined.

I am very intrested in seeing the statistics.
TR VS pull maxes in biolabs too but the difference is that they pull maxes in OTHER PLACES at a much higher rate so I think when you see the stats your golden goose is going to lay a rather standard egg.

it is not the max itself but the damn awful spawn rooms, you just can't get an angle on the max, nor on the 2342342LA with punp shotgun, and the exploting engi with endless launcher ammo.

Oh that's rich! NC sat and complained for two months about how they were the most UP faction. Turns out they were just fine. Devs didn't change a thing, and yet now all the sudden NC is faction of the moment. Studies done by forum members to estimate the effects of server mergers prove this. Sounds to me like NC were the ones that needed to learn to play. This is more pathetic than when the VS were defending the Magrider.

I say post the numbers. Show us Max's spawned by faction, KDR in Max vs Max fights, and avg num of infantry killed per Max. You can't argue against the numbers, but I'm sure the NC will try.

NC is still the worse of the three factions, so much evidence and facts to support it (TR/VS are ahead overall in weaponry)

I much prefer TR max, love it for much more, and people are stupid with NC max, running up to it and dieing, use a bit of tactics and good play and you down it in no time. Biolabs can be taken no problem people just camp teleporters to much.

Remove all firearms and make everyone use knives.

NC have beast guns, most of them pack more punch at the cost of a higher recoil, only noobs can't deal with this. Their disadvantage is their bad color set lol

I really really REALLY love these ******* downslords trying to defend the existence of the ******* hacksaws and variants. You're ******* stupid as piss, they **** in just about any range. In a biolab you're pretty much scalped by NC MAXes...

HURR DERP DERP BUT THEY USELESS OUTSIDES! It's called hitting F and ******* running like a kenyan olypmic runner on speed and crack at the same time RIGHT UP TO YOUR FACE and then just press both mouse buttons and shred the piss out of you. The NC MAX has no equal at all, people with mercies and 5/5 kinetic get wrecked in a bio lab...the NC MAXes pure environments.

OF COURSE they'll never nerf the NC MAX no matter how much it's an apex predator.
