we hate them, and NO ONE is moderating them. Check the leaderboards for kills, so many peole with impossible ratios like "499-9" or "537-3" or "673-2" I realize that you guys are busy taking care of CTD's or what-not, but PLEASE ASSIGN A MODERATOR TO THE LEADERBOARDS. these hackers not only HARASS YOUR CUSTOMERS, they INSULT YOUR CODING. i am #16 on server now, however, subtracting the 5 blatant hackers ahead of me (with IMPOSSIBLE ratios), i would be #12. Please do something about this.
just had a dude named monsterkiller @mattherson -nc drop pod my tower like 10 times, then teleport over to some building next to it landing 95% headshots on his bolt action rifle
Imaging what a failure at life he must be to have to resort to hacking eh? There's nothing sweeter than a legitimately owned kill I reckon. Well, he won't be able to hack IRL and man is he gonna fail even harder hehe.
It's not like the bolt action rifles aren't easy enough to use as is. Just look for people who are standing still and you win!
There are some bugs involved in leaderboard tracking that we already know of, please don't assume someone is a hacker simply because they have a high value there for right now.
What bugs exactly? Considering the amount of hacking in the beta it's a simple jump to assume that they are hacking. Just look up Planetside 2 hacks on youtube and you'll see people doing it blatantly.
Considering one of my friends in my outfit is one of the bugged ones showing 1 death total and I know for a fact hes died way more than that in just a 2 hours play session yesterday... yeah I'd have to say there are some bugs with it. Assuming a hack just because you don't know any better is worse than the alternative. Point fingers at everyone and soon enough everyone will start whining about hackers just because someone happens to be mildly better than them.
Do you need to create/spam MULTIPLE threads on the EXACT SAME topic with the EXACT SAME title to complain about your precious position on the leaderboards and to make sure EVERYONE in the world knows what your position on the leaderboards is. PROTIP: Don't care. Stop spamming.
Knew it wouldn't be too long before these threads start popping up. They aren't hacking, you just need to practice playing the game a bit more. Just because someone keeps dominating you don't assume they are hacking. If they look suspicious then report their ingame name. I seriously doubt there would be hackers this early in launch.
