GU06 Info and Feature Preview

    Oh, gee. That's rather embarrassing... I guess I never looked at the title, only the body. In my defense it still says : Due to time requirements on the updates to the Light Assault Class along with the additional support from the community to pursue the MAX class improvements we're going to bump this feature from May to March and push back the update to Light Assault.

    Capping two big bases... Is much easier then capping a continent... Please make xp dynamic for capping bases. Rewarded for how much you participate and still rewarded even if you left.

    IIRC, you were talking at some stage about increasing the amount of time that you can gain passive certs without logging in. While part of me says you should have to work for the certs, part of me (the selfish part) says premium members are paying for that higher gain.

    I bought my premium membership because I'm often travelling Australia for work, and I wanted to maximise my progression when I get a chance to play. Logging in is rarely an option when you're in the red center, and since release I would have missed out on at least 2.5 months of passive certs. (Not a biggie, but I bought the membership before I left for 7 weeks, only to come back and discover that passive cert gain stops after 24 hours.

    Not that I think players should be given progression for nothing, but your premium members ARE coming back. I don't know what the solution is, especially since there are a lot of people who (quite justifiably) argue P2Win. Has your team thought any further on this? Is there a tweak in the pipeline? Or is this a low priority?

    Appreciate anything you can do for working people like myself (or anyone with time demands like parents etc). Understand if ethics of F2P tie your hands. Looking forward to the update!

    that's some pretty good stuff. really looking forward to how the dynamic 'missions' can shape off-time play. however, 3k xp for a goal like that (which is NEVER going to happen) is rather miniscule. wouldn't it be exciting if continent caps were worth something like 50 certs (12.5k xp)? that's a number that is not gamebreaking (maybe 1.5 hours play for most), yet will motivate a lot of players quite a bit.

    rewards could obviously be tiered. so a continent cap should be the highest tier, and stuff like hold all techplants could be 30 certs, holding a specific base 20 certs etc.

    Yeah that's the single example we've seen. No test server to actually playtest it though. No running dialogue so it actually comes out ok. Nor much actual discussion about facility benefits.

    Are you purposely trying to get your players to tear out their hair in frustration?

    This can take often two DAYS, not two hours. Seriously, you'll drive your player base nuts over things like this.

    Solo and casual players, which this game needs more of, not less. They're doing the right thing by making sure there are achievements for people to work on.

    i hope they dont balance the jackhammer since its not even the most OP of shotguns.. TBH i think all the Empire Heavy Weapons Need a buff

    MCG - 200 Extra Pool Ammo or 100 Pool Ammo and Spool Momentum ( ie lifting off trigger doesn't restart the spool from the beginning) Ie with Extended Clip MCG would be 200/400

    Lasher - 150 Extra Pool Ammo / Increased Fire Rate 10% maybe? ie extended max 150/300

    Jackhammer - 32 extra Pool Ammo or Removal of Burst Fire and 42 Extra Pool Ammo ie with extended mag 10/70

    all of these would make people actually consider using the heavy weapons over the more versatile normal weapons

    TBH would also want to see Carv/orion get a compensator or something and orion get a clip increase from 50 to 75 by detault

    Yes a wow kill quest is just what this game needs. This game is losing players like crazy and its not because of kill quests.

    MMOs all have these little achievements to earn during your playtime. Modern shooters have adopted it because it gets people playing more and staying in the game. This type of system is part of the MMO genre

    Continent design is much more important than the lattice. Amerish did a great job of funneling assaults into specific routes during beta. Now it's mostly dead. Today was the first time I've seen battles on it since... beta.
