    Really, PS2 devs, common, you really only nerf and nerf, taking more and more of fun away.

    you dont listen to community.

    no new content.

    ps2 stagnated at this point of time...

    You more and more make me unhappy.

    more nerfs for nc ? (see picture below) , give nc midrange gun (not shotgun) already yesterday!

    because harrassers ability to kill is far to great for such a small , supposedy light vehicle , i mean you can pull harrassers all day and roadkill .. you can snipe infantry with AI cannons , you can run circles around most armor and also keep up with them when they run all while pounding them in the *** the entire time , becasuse even the vulcan cannon rips apart everything at close range , you never have to stop for repair , or you can have a burster in rear to keep air off your butt , etc.. etc ..

    With the damage from burster maxes dropping off at 300m, they will be useless against libs and most esf pilots. Both will simply stay 400 ish meters above the ground and that expensive deployed sundy will be destroyed easily.

    lolpods need to also have a 300 m damage drop of, or your 350 resource max will simply be dead.

    Seriously a max more expensive than an ESF?

    The acquisition timer certs I have in vehicles will become worthless. There is almost no way anyone can make enough certs to use a vehicle on CD after this, if they spend certs past acquisition timer 4 or 5 on most ground vehicles anyway.

    The sundy no deploy zone? Who asked for this? If you can get a sundy that close, especially on Indar, you deserve to park wherever you want!

    Honestly, this game is going in the wrong direction. Constant bandaids on things that need real solutions like the resource system, is just getting silly. Nevermind the other major gameplay changes they have made, that some people greatly dislike.

    Is this the anti-QoL patch or something? I have not had enough resources for grenades + C4 in a week with the present costs I will never have enough resources to pull the max I have 3k+ certs in.

    Also, why bother defending a continent now. Once the other two factions decide to neutralize a continent, there will be no way to defend against it. The attackers will have resources and the defenders will be on another continent for 20 minutes at a time, trying to get enough resources for a flash! I guess you could just make it 30 minutes and bring a MBT instead, though.

    The only thing I see these changes doing is making it easier to walk away from this game.

    in the end, they will say - it is requested by community... like with new NS smgs coming ( also very hot requested by imaginary community)

    ESF's should not be cheaper then maxes EVER, unless you plan to forget about the nerfs.

    Please just go ahead with the nerfs, but make ESF's cost atleast 350 resources, maybe even 400. (as long as they aren't being hard countered, they are far more effective weapons then a MBT, that isn't being countered.

    Just felt like you know, I've had breakfast now. I ought to get back in here and once again state how ******* stupid at least 80% of this patch is.

    I'm massively disappointed with the whole SOE team at present. If they **** with EQ3 like this, I'm going to go back to EVE, where the developers, you know, have a clue what they're doing...

    this is happening because people complain too much on the forums.

    I'm going to tell you as nice as possible. if you don't like to get killed by a tank, mosquito/reaver/scythe etc then go and play call of duty. what do you people want from this game, to destroy a tank with one pistol bullet? :rolleyes:

    The MAX>ESF cost is the only change I agree with. The costs (whilst I don't agree with the need to raise them; just to balance things further) are being changed based upon how effective each unit is. It's right there in the patch notes.

    MAX's have the highest score per hour of -anything- you can do in game; it simply makes no sense for them to cost the same as a single block of C4 that won't even kill a tank and has a 50% chance of doing nothing when you die in the 3 seconds prior to being able to detonate it.

    ESF's have the lowest score per hour of any vehicle in game (including flashes...). Whilst you may get irritated that the good pilots can farm you because you're too stupid to have AA (which absolutely dominates ESFs, stupidly), the very vast majority of pilots are profiting -far- less from flying than even your average Light Assault, much less a Lightning that you think it should share resource costs with.

    Some slack-jawed redneck -will- come in here and state that there are -so many- tanks to kill that they'll need to double the ammo reserve of the pistol...

    I don't know what server these fools play on; any time I fly to an area that has 48+vs48+ there's maybe 10 tanks? -Maybe-... There won't be any planes at all, because the AA would tear them to pieces, and there will be at least a dozen (ZOE even when fighting TR ;) ) MAXs...

    I honestly would vastly prefer people pull MORE vehicles, not less. Vehicles are so UP compared to infantry currently. It's like original series Darleks... 'Oh, you're basically invincible?... No problem. I'll just go up these stairs...' ... Without the invincible part... -_-

    You know what else would make me stop using IRNV? If the damned 1x reflex and the iron sights didn't suck.

    Also, way to go, favor warpgate positions and population server imbalances even more why don't you. Make HAs and AV turrets even more preferable. Brilliant.

    I'm also totally looking forward to agonizing over my mines and grenades and **** because I'm defending a stupid-*** base that's arbitrarily rewarded me 2000 air resources that go into a mysterious black hole since I've got 750. Instead of the infantry resources that I'm perpetually out of and desperately need.

    i think i had it with lies and marketing and sells strategys and nerfs of ps2.... cant await for dayz standalone. i need something honest from time to time.

    Max share costs with c4 etc. The changes will severely limit the pressence of especially max units. If MAX's get this cost increase, then they shouldn't nerf them to begin with, but leave them as they are.

    It is also crazy thinking how much an ESF will cost compared to virtually anything else. Aircraft are being spammed on miller just as much as anything else.

    I.m for nerfs to AA, but being able to pull 3 ESF's on a full resource bar, compared to 2, while also facturing in that on average you gain what? 100-150 resources every 5 Min. Then there will normally always be more air then AA.

    Exactly, why is nobody mentioning this? No one freaking wants to deploy zones. I think SOE threw in the vehicle costs just to distract people from the No deploy zones.

    i'm afraid the game wont have a focus on large mass battles with lots of vehicles any more but rather on small skirmishes with only a handful of vehicles :(

    please dont do this, soe. you may kill off the game with these high resource costs, especially for casual players who die very fast in their vehicles anyway

    Flash costs are too damn high!

    75-100 feels much better. Not everyone is wraith/fury farming.

    Fantastic, TR on Mattherson will be able to spawn no vehicles now...
    Would not be too much of a problem if they would just put a lock on the VS population...
