GU011: Weapon and Vehicle Changes

    What is with SOE and this absurd scope sway fetish? I don't even use NV scopes on guns, or high-zoom scopes, but this is getting idiotic.

    Scopes aren't even something that could cause this.

    (Edit: I swear, if vehicle guns start swaying while using NV ...)

    Flash is my primary vehicle, I love infantry fights and just use it to get around + radar. I have a whopping 100 kills (133 if you count roadkill?) after almost 40 hours lol.

    I see why resource costs were upped across the scale, but at least keep it scaled, flash went up like 5x, others only double in spots.

    All of these changes are decidedly 'a good thing'.

    "Waaaaaah I can't pull my favorite vehicle or max as often!"

    Get out and use your bullets. They don't cost resources.

    I hope the burst ROF increase is such that it will put all three shots in one place without having to wrangle high speed recoil, or at least that it's noticeably faster than just semi-autoing it.

    Maybe tank drivers should avoid sitting in places LAs can easily get to them? Maybe Maxs need support to cover them?

    this is going to encourage griefing on a massive scale. wiping out peoples supply will be the primary focus in most battles. Just spawn an alt, an keep killing the Sundays an tanks, suddenly none is able to spawn them...

    Im so sad with this game right now... this update give one more reason to start to find another game to play, its not drama.... but nothing new, only nerf nerf nerf.... is nerfside 2 ?

    Why you guys dont put a time for ZOE ? seriously... this kind of solution is so lame, we gonna start new topics and you have to made the changes again... waste of time... and VS MAX will continue to be OP


    You guys realize that, not even all players can play with a shotgun right? and to use the pump actions you need to have at least a good skill to shoot in right places right? want to fix something? keep in mind not even all players use this #$#%#%# weapon because is hard to use, so do us all a favor and remove or stop to destroy the @#$%#@ shotguns

    Everytime you guys think to nerf the freaking shotguns idk why... more and more people stop to play with shotguns... this patch is so frustrating... i come here hoping to see something real new and we have crossbow ideas, and nerf ****... gonna find something new to play, something stable with no crazy ideas.


    The rest is ok, but for sure this is a horrible patch, only stupid decisions.

    Absolutely. Those 7-day resource boosts weren't going to sell themselves.

    Want to play dedicated MAX or ground vehicles? Buy a sub and/or pay $3 a week for resource boosts! Pay to win or play infantry.

    People are going to log into their alts more often to purposely tk vehicles and MAXes, to turn the tide of a battle. Warp gate griefing will reach new heights. You heard it here first

    If you can't keep your vehicle alive long enough to regenerate the resources, you shouldn't be driving it. [this excludes flashes, as those are now marshmallows and not vehicles]

    As a pilot, I'll happily accept increased resource costs if these Burster adjustments mean even a slight increase in survivability. An accuracy penalty for spamming shots will only ensure that moronic pilots--hovering and/or flying into a Spawn battery of Burster spam--will still be punished with instant death, while strategic pilots will benefit by not being cert-farmed at ridiculously long ranges.

    A few things:

    Why isn't the cost of Mines and C4 going up as well?

    Have you considered removing or lower the acquisition timers on all vehicles and MAX's?

    Is there any reason all the air units cost are lower than ground vehicles across the board ?
    All the air units should have there costs bumped up by a 100.

    Now my 2 cents:

    The cost of pulling a vehicle should be a base cost + any upgrades not just some simple blanket costs, a unarmed flash
    used just for getting from point A to B shouldn't cost 150 that's just overkill.

    Now after all the time you have spent on new MAX weapons and abilities you change the cost to 350 ?
    MAX's will vanish from the battlefield and you have just wasted months of development time that could have better spent
    fixing bugs, address cheats/hacks and new content to the game.

    This will be two patches in a row with no new items, how are you generating new revenue ?

    No. In this game, Unless your pouring cash in for Boosts and premium, you can really only effective be CERTing out one vehicle or class. And I will tell you, that playing an unCerted class or vehicle after playing in your near Maxed out Vehicle/class is hard and is not what people want to do. This isn't battlefield where the vehicles spawns are set and limited. If I or anyone else wants to dedicate them self to Certing/mastering a vehicle, then by all means they should be able to. This game is supposed to be COMBINED Ops with the vehicles. Not Infantryside2 with a hint of underpowered tanks and planes.

    And before you comment on tanks/planes not being underpowered. When you see a Prowler/Mossie(Or other faction Equiv) do you feel nervous or does it affect you as an infantry? As of now, it doesn't because you can scroll down to your AT Mine or your Laser guided no skill Insta kill rocket launcher and Blast it from 300+meters. ALL this while barely rendering to the Driver/pilot.

    Infantry is fun, But I enjoy this game because of my Tank/Mossie. And if im forced to play infantry, I don't enjoy that much.

    Why is air so much cheaper than ground vehicles? ESFs, the 1-person air combat vehicle cost 250 resources and the 1-person ground combat vehicle costs 400. Liberators, 3-person air vehicles, cost 350 and the 2-person MBTs cost 450.

    Either increase the cost of air to match, or lower the ground vehilce cost. ... or scrap the increase altogether - we have a really good mix of vehicles, MAXes, and infantry right now.

    Does ruining people's fun come as a requirement to a patch?

    IRNV recieving a "little" delay and a "little" scope sway, yeah I remember when you said you'd be doing that to the 6x scopes, didn't feel like a little sway to me.

    flash having it's price increased by 500%. that's hilarious, and not in a good way.

    4 shot shotguns?

    Vehicles could probably use another health buff to balance the cost. Double the armor for ESFs
