Hmmmm, I've taken alot of grief gunning for tankers doing this, puts you on the mini-map, so they say.
Yeah, I always use /w to tell the guy I tk'd that I'm sorry. Most of the time those apologies are accepted...
When you're in a vehicle and you accidentally ram an allied vehicle, stop moving / attempt to use your brakes. It's not that big of a deal when someone hits me, it's war there's chaos so accidents like that are bound to happen but when you hit me and then proceed to steamroll straight forward killing my vehicle in the process you're going to die. Or when you're in a Sunderer and you roadkill an infantry soldier, just stop, deploy and revive the poor guy they'll usually even thank you for it.
Oh, I forgot a big one... Don't park behind right friendly tanks that are under fire. It really sucks when you're trying to retreat around a corner and find someone is sitting there in a friendly lightning casually preventing you from doing so.
As HA, good etiquette is: Launching a rocket at an enemy aircraft whenever you see one. Using your shield to take a hit for your allies. NO REALLY, I have saved countless (Seven) lives by jumping in front of them with my shield on. I only died once:3
When somebody who kills you complements you, don't ignore them; Thank them and move on. Also, if you have a Lasher, aim it at enemies but not so that you splash damage allies: It's not ALWAYS thir fault they die to it.
...use your witch-horn immediately after you steamroll an enemy infantry with your flash to show some respect for the death.
its the missing Motivation i guess. after that speech im always so pumped ill take bullets for my bro in arms. really when my buddys tank is hit ill drive mine in cone of fire ^^ or rev the ppl where like 1000 other medic just run by ^^ defeat is not in our Vanu creed
Dunno about being put on the minimap, though yes, the enemy can hear the callout. Though personally I've never had any grief from tankers while doing this.
It's only really an issue for infils. Two infils cloaked just behind enemy lines, one of them is going QQQQQQQQQQQQQ "ENEMY MEDIC IN THE AREA!", while the other one is quietly trying to stab himself out of frustration before the legion of hostiles hear Loudbro McLouderson.
I can find no veracity to this. People really like repeating misinformation, though. If there's one thing I could get people to do with would be to hammer the "q" button as often and accurately as possible. The more enemies that are spotted, the more enemies tend to die.
Looking before I run to a spot to see if I'm entering a friendly's firing lane Running behind a friendly rather then through or, even worse, in front him as he currently has his gun up Not standing or running in front of a currently manned AI turret You'd think these would be common sense things, what with the "Don't stand in front of someone who is trying to shoot bad mans cause it means you die faster" but apparently not.
