We all do this every day. You rampage into the enemy base, you pen them inside their invulnerable spawn-outhouse, and the battle comes to a close. You spam it with gunfire for up to seven-eight minutes -- usually with vehicles. It's the most eye rollingly ridiculous part of the game. It's boring for the assailants and frustrating -- even demeaning -- for the defenders. I know the devs are hip-deep in other issues, but I'd like to plant the seed of an idea. Give us multiple spawn rooms with small gens nearby. Knock out the gens, and the door shields go down so we can storm inside and gun the bastiches in their tubes, take the tubes themselves out.... aha, but now they're spawning in that *other* spawn room over yonder, and itching for vengeance. If anyone has one single in-game instance where the defenders ever, EVER managed to get out and resecure the base, I'd like to hear about it. I've never seen it yet. We need something else.
It happens as long as you can get the campee's onboard with the plan.(usually for outfits) Tunnel rush was the one I remember last.
I've mostly only seen it: 1) When a whole lot more people come to defend the point 2) The attackers get bored and start to leave allowing a chance to retake In either case I still agree this is the worst and most pointless part of the game... Lattice I think makes this happen even more (even though I like Lattice overall). I'm all for this, or faster cap times.
Anything's better than a four-to-eight minute spawn camping of an invulnerable spawn. Who the hell ever thought that would be fun...? /grump
