[Suggestion] Give TR/NC Lasher/PPA equivalents...

Remember auto-shotties on BF3 with FRAG round ammunition? I think something like that would work. Except it just has FRAG round ammo and a large clip. It's not an option for all shotguns.

We embraced our Vanu overlords and the gifts they could give us. You thought it was a mistake and you now have the temerity to whine about it.

The were on about developing Thumpers...... then again they tried grenade launchers on MAX and had to abandon it (if you ignore the Pounder anyway).

Then give VS equivalents to Prowler's double cannon and ScatMAXes, thanks.

It's always the same: When TR and NC have something that does extremely well, it's faction trait, if VS have something that works well, it's OP.

Well, the PPA has become a Canister clone, so that out of that list.

The Lasher, while seemingly fun to use, especially in big fights, sees little use due to all the downsides associated with it. Not to mention that it is the worst performer by quite a margin compared to the other two heavy guns.

One thing that I would like to eventually see is new heavy guns in general. Considering however that heavy guns is one weapon category with no NS variants, it's not unlikely that we may see one of those first.

I liked the Cannister so much, I bought the company! Shame it was pants, really.

The PS1 Pounders were fine. Decent against Vehicles, lackluster against Infantry. Unfortunately, their damage model would be a death sentence in PS2 were any MAX to try to apply it.

Ah, no. A) I don't want the USAS with frags fiasco again, B) I would like to confine the super spammer weapon to a single faction thank you very much.

So no, everyone doesn't need a lasher/PPA equivalent. Unless you want to give everyone else MCG/Jackhammer equivalents as well. I would still be opposed to it.

Give Vs JackHammer/Mini Gatling equivalents too.
By the way, just make every equipment and vehicle to NS and everything FIXED.

VS has always been the difficult faction to balance (PS1 and PS2). NC and TR have always had fairly similar equipment while VS have... weird equipment. The lasher in PS1 went through a number of balance passes (weak, OP, slightly too good but who cares anymore). Most TR and NC had lockers full of Lashers and cave weapons.

Of course, back in PS1 the Magrider was almost more of a pain in the *** since bridge battles were a frequent thing and Mags could just... avoid them.

There is the Banshee. It is like the Light PPA just far better...

you fought so long for buffs for the MCG and Jackhammer and now thatyou have them you want them nerfed again?

It's funny how on the forums nothing the VS has is OP, but as soon as you go in game and listen to their squad chat they sound almost embarrassed by their weapon abilities... They even admit they expect to get nerfed.
