[Suggestion] Give ES Pistols(including directive variants) x1 & 2x scope options.

    ES Pistols need SOMETHING so they can compete with the NS side arms.

    Basic optics would go a long way.

    As I've said before, nothing past a 1x sight.

    Reason being Pistols are finishers, usually, and are pulled as a HO**** resort in cqc. Their effectiveness at range tends to drop quickly, and tend to be rarely used outside of this scenario, exception being stalker infiltrating.

    1x reflex would give you a clearer ADS sight, nothing more.

    1x would be an advantage for TR only, since TR's Burst/Auto pistols are for short range and the NC's/VS's semi-auto are like more like Scout Rifle replacements and better for long ranges. 1x is for short range, and higher for longer range. Also where is the point having a Scope with the same Zoom as without Scope?

    I would rather like to have every scope: 1x, 2x, 3.4x, 4x, and maybe 6x for ES Pistols.

    The point is that accuracy does not work the same way when ADS as when you hipfire:

    1. Hipfire has bloom, ADS does not.
    2. ADS is generally more accurate than hipfire (depending on the weapon, it is the case for TR pistols anyway).
    3. When shooting semi auto, ADS is GENERALLY slower than hipfire because of a larger weapon kickback.

    So, you use ADS for more accuracy at range.

    Personally, I would take 1x, but since TR pistols have approximately the same minimum damage range as the NS pistols (50-60m) they should have the same scope choices, i.e., 2x as well. As such NC and VS pistols should too (or more, depending on game balance).

    I'd happily settle just for 1x scopes, would be a small QoL change for Stalker Infiltrators.

    2x scopes... the moment that happens I'll switch over to Vanu and make the beamer my primary weapon.

    The point of having a scope over an iron site? Ease of use, you have a much better less cluttered view plus a much better cross hair (of your choice) to allow for faster target acquisition.

    Talking for the NC pistols, its questionable if even the Rebel will require anything above a 1x scope, the mag shot certainly doesn't, the mag scatter ..... well its a shot gun and the desperado is a spray and prey close range weapon so no more than 1 x there either.

    Now the only thing that MIGHT warrant a 2x would be the Rebel......

    Now a pistol with a 6x scope? a scope where you have to hold your breath? Really?

    Lets compare the Rebel to the Blackhand (a pistol with a 4x installed):

    Rebel: 375ms, 250 before 15m, 143 after 60m
    BlackH: 550ms, 450 before 5m, 250 after 125m

    To me looking at those stats one is clearly aimed at the longer range side arm (in fact, its the longest range side arm available) and it has a 4x (highest without scope sway).

    To say the NC have "long range pistols" is simply wrong.

    The Blackhand only has a medium effective range, with other NC ES pistols being short effective range.

    Anything over a 2x (at a push) would be a waste of time on any NC ES pistol.
